Aldi - my fragrance Spa

I had already heard from several quarters that the Aldi fragrances were very good dupes - but I couldn't really imagine that.

The Lidl Dupes are also well done - but on my skin a little fleeting.

But Brilliant Gold already convinced me as J adore Dupe, so today I willingly listened to the friend who had made herself happy with Flowery Red.

The name and the packaging clearly refer to Kenzo Flower - and the contents as well.

I find the scents identical.

The pleasant slightly bitter powdery flower of Kenzo is perfectly reflected in this Biondi.
Also at Sillage and durability there is nothing to complain about.

Here you can treat yourself to the beautiful Kenzo scent for little money.

Not a great hit

I once took the fragrance so easily and then forgot it and put it in the cupboard. The days I got him and his sisters out again and tested with a little more experience in the meantime. For me it starts out like Kenzo Flower. The start a little fresh and fruity and then the flowers come along. But none of them are clear to sniff. Not bad, but too flowery for me. The finish is more flowers and quite heavy before vanilla joins and presses everything against the wall. Shelf life with me about 5 hours. I have the scent and it didn't cost a fortune, but I am not enthusiastic about it. Vanilla is not so much the case anymore and it does not fit into the summer half year for me. Pity

Hidden little treasure

A "Kenzo Flower" clone among frozen vegetables, milk mice, cream cheese barrels and Mümmelmann hunting bitters? Nah...

But it is. And what a good one.

Aldi is my main shopping destination, but I never paid much attention to the perfumes until a few days ago. Out of curiosity, I tested "Flowery Red" and expected a musty floral scent. It doesn't have to be the most expensive, but I prefer to steer clear of fakes or cheap perfumes at flea markets. Urine or untested, dangerous substances on the skin don't sound inviting. Apart from the smell, which usually has a strong, musty, pungent quality to it.

None of this applies to "Flowery Red". A beautiful floral fragrance, mainly rose and violet with a penaten note, as we know it from the original. Clean and fresh. The penaten note could come from the incense, but I'm not sure, as I find incense very dominant. But the flowers really come through here.

It lasts well even after several hours, I only have to spray it once or twice a day. Totally OK for the price. It is now a perfume in the car, for scenting on the go.
Anyone looking for a nice Kenzo Flower Dupe is well served here.

I really love this perfume. I have had more comments when I have been wearing it than any others I have worn including expensive ones. I get asked the name of it and where I got it all the time which has never happened on this scale before. I am struggling to find anywhere I can repurchase it as I am getting really short

Memories on my shelf

I smelled this fragrance for the first time in 2013. Associated with some emotions and memories, this scent has a special place in me and in my 13-year-old self. The scent of fresh winter air and unknown freedom.
Sneaking out with Kristina. I admired and loved her so much back then. "Look, I got this from my mum, put it on and nobody will smell the smoke". Laughing as we lay on the tarmac road, lit only by two lanterns and nothing else but silence, except the two of us.
Being allowed to emerge and breathe for the first time since a very dark time in my life.

Time passed, I had no more contact with Kristina, nor with this fragrance.
Until one day in a department store I happened to dive through a scent.
What is that smell? Where do I know it from?....
And all the images came back. I just stood there and was far away for a moment before I finally couldn't help but follow the scent and, despite my social phobia, asked a woman what perfume she was wearing. She very kindly said that this fragrance could be found in Aldi. So I went to Aldi. I could hardly believe what I was holding in my hands.

Since then, the fragrance has been sitting on my shelf, memories of a special time in my life, stored in a jar. I didn't buy it to wear it, because for me it is a precious treasure from my past that I can no longer return to. For me, it symbolizes security, wrapped in an unshakeable youthful sanctity. The first time I can live, laugh and be myself again forever.
