Simple and Effective
The Context

This is the forth one from that spring break batch that I got and with this one in particular I really thought it was a bit more expensive because of its clean and simple squared bottle and its nice design on the back, although now I reckon this is a bit lazy and the design could’ve been more interesting and simple at the same time. But anyway, it took me a while to appreciate the scent and what I'm trying to do.

The Scent

This is a simple, linear and masculine scent that swings between a spicy green and woody notes and a less stronger mix of powdery and aromatic notes. It is interesting how many qualities it has for just three notes, the cedar, the coriander and the orris root. It is pure magic how these three make a whole imaginary experience of grabbing these three raw materials as objects as samples and breaking them so that the moist and raw scents to evacuate and catch their scent all at once. This is how I would describe the scent. Again, simple but really accurate.

The Longevity

With this one I get around 5 to 6 hours, just like the majority of my fragrances and I would say in a few cases I noticed that good heat lasts for a shorter time, so it all depends.

The Projection

This has a moderate projection and after 2 hours it becomes body skin. Again, just like most of my other fragrances from my collection.

The Bottle

In the context I already described pretty well the presentation but another two things that I would add it’s also the cap, that it’s just a light plastic one, and the other it’s the atomizer, which it’s metallic but does sprays like the other fragrances, that I wrote about from Avon. Cool Lavender has an atomizer that I need to pump it a bit, because it has a decent long hose but with the atomizer I have some control on my sprays. For Avon so far this is not the case, it just manages to make the bare minimum, but it fits their price.

The Perfumer

There is no nose listed here but I don’t imagine this fragrance as being really unique and expensive to make. Any perfume with a decent experience in the field I imagine that they could create pretty quickly.

Conclusions

It’s a simple and effective spicy green, masculine, fragrance that 's more or less easy going. But its short list of notes gives me more thoughts and that’s saying something. Next, I will write about Avon’s Bijou, which is one of my favorite not-niche fragrances from my collection that has a playful sweet and spicy scent profile.
