slimmed down and yet so round
How I loved him, my "Must de Cartier" classic fragrance.
Still today I sometimes look for the empty bottle from the beautiful tin box (a former gingerbread home with Nuremberg motifs) to enjoy this magical creature.
Usually this smell excursion leads me then also into the past: oh, which were those nevertheless for times!
"Golden Days? I don't know ...

But enough of that: now it's about a golden rebirth - "Must de Cartier Gold"!
The most impressive fragrance component was extracted from the head, heart and base notes and spiced up with a very nice dose of osmanthus A slimmed down magic scent variant, which is still as round and just as delightfully seductive as the classic.

Osmanthus - the tea variety, whose valuable flowers have to be picked in only one night (this plant does not flower any longer), appears here as a delicious pioneer, which already carries the signpost "Duftzauberland".
Galbanum - resinous, spicy and slightly smoky, follows this exotic, intensely sweet flower aroma on the foot.
They are beautiful, these two so different scents and belong together in this composition; they form a strong unity.
Of course, jasmine should not be missing; as a white-flowering herb it is active in the evening and at night, but it also accompanies us without any problems during a long part of the day and of course especially during the night.
The successful enfleurage has changed this night owl for the perfume world. Not exactly an "early bird", but anything but a silence of fragrance during the day.
For flowering jasmine during the day is white and largely fragranceless; it lives only when the first fireflies appear for its entertainment. Then these large white flowers truly throw a rush of beguiling aroma into the air.
The goddess vanilla does not impose such an obligation on herself: she is immediately present. Warm and tempting she represents the goddess of love Venus also in this fragrance creation.
(Only in the five vanilla scents of Sylvaine Delacourt I know she is tender and fine and sometimes almost floating.)
In "Must de Cartier Gold" she succeeds in taking something back and weaving with her three companions on an equal footing an extraordinary fragrance.
Which goddess serves this loom?

Enough raving!
That I like to surround myself with warm oriental fragrance opulence is now known.
My original "must" is only a beautiful breath of memories; this modern piece of jewellery, on the other hand, seems to seize the opportunity and become a living present!
An intoxicating fragrance shower in gold - an absolute must!

Uh, do I smell light vanilla fruit quark or am I just hungry again?
Good evening, folks! What's going on? Oh, don't tell me, I know you're just snooping again, am I right? Otherwise you wouldn't have just arrived at my comment here to see what kind of nonsense I could be jamming again today.

First of all, I am coming up with a real mainstream fragrance today. Cartier, who can be found everywhere and, like all mainstreamers, has good and also less good scents to offer. But before you ignoramuses leave again because I don't introduce a niche scent (which, by the way, are read much less often, because nobody knows them, ... argh!), I can reassure you and tell you that you are dealing with a really nice scent here (in other words: keep reading! :D).

As a pampered parfuma or perfumo, you should get used to trying the "normal" scents in the city from time to time, because there are pearls among them, even among the newer scents. Whether this fragrance could also be called a pearl has to be decided by each individual, but I think Must de Cartier Gold is quite good and therefore count it among the most beautiful fragrances!

The fragrance:
The fragrance begins green and fresh before becoming warmer, softer and more sweet and powdery. For vanilla quickly interferes with galbanum and green leaves and becomes stronger and stronger. You will laugh now, but due to the vanilla and the green notes the fragrance seemed a little bit like a light and tasty fruit quark at the beginning. You know, these things you can buy in the supermarket, where the fruits lurk at the bottom of the container and the curd is sitting on top :D On the other hand, I can't think of a better comparison and maybe I'm only thinking of something sweet because I'm hungry somehow and can't wait to get something to eat after the commi :D
Anyway, this was my first impression with this fragrance. Later I continue to smell light, green notes with lots of vanilla, but now also with beautiful resins. The whole thing is of course sweetish and a little flowery (probably due to Osmanthus and Jasmine).
Later, the green scents become weaker, so that the scent becomes more flowery and sweeter.
In the base you mainly have to do with vanilla, while in the background you can still find beautiful floral notes. Everything is sweet, powdery, flowery and still resinous. It is a pleasantly feminine fragrance that may be a little too mature for younger people.
As expected, the fragrance only smells of vanilla at the end.

The Sillage and the shelf life:
The Sillage is quite good and therefore not only from the closest proximity with one smellable.
The shelf life is very good, which was to be expected by all these sweet scents, especially vanilla. Depending on the dosage, the fragrance can be easily perceived the next morning.

The bottle:
The bottle is rectangular and has rounded edges and thus no real corners, yet it looks a little octagonal. The glass is grooved or corrugated so that the bottle gets a small retro look, which I think is quite nice. There is no label, the name of the fragrance was engraved on the gold-plated neck. The lid, which continues the shape of the bottle and is also grooved, was also gold-plated. All in all a beautiful bottle!

Sooo, so I think this fragrance definitely shows something very good: Namely that mainstreamers don't have to be boring or bad! Well, the way he looks, he doesn't offer much new stuff now, so that some might actually call him boring. But it's not bad at all because it has a really very pleasant scent with its sweet powdery and flowery resinous scents, which smell nice for yourself as well as for others.

It can be worn well in spring and autumn, as an opportunity it is actually an all-rounder. This means that it fits well into the day when used in smaller doses, but can also be used as a fragrance when "applied thicker". The fragrance doesn't suit the very "young things", but everyone else who is not a thing anymore... uh, not 20 or so anymore, can test this fragrance with pleasure (that means, from 21 on you are already old, mu ha ha ha ha :DD). Well, now stop kicking me about it and use your legs either for running to test scents somewhere in town, or dress your legs in short skirts, that's fine with me too!... and I said, stop kicking!!!! D

That's it again. I wish you all a nice evening :)

Cartier sur la route de la vanille
Although vanilla is not mentionned among the ingredients , it is exactely what I smelt after the first spray. It gives roundness to the scent and happily marries the osmathus. And that is all you get. You pay for it the price for gold but it is far from the sophistication of the original Must. The latter is a real MUST. This is a Must if you must have it because is new and it has the "gold" attached to its name.
Speaking about the two perfumes in terms of jewelery, I would say that Must is a 14K while Must Gold is a 10K.
