A powdery cuddle dream
Chantal Thomass is a designer lingerie and fashion brand. I once had a gorgeous silk negligee from the brand. The brand has been part of the Chantelle Group since 2011. Osez-Moi! Or i dare / I dare (me) has been available since 2009, powdery / creamy fragrance.
A winter pearl. The fragrance doesn't work for me in summer, warm, caramel, vanilla and powdery as it is. But in winter, it chases away the gray dreariness in a matter of seconds.
Elegant. Present. The powderiness here is by no means innocent, but rather a boudoir's wicked note. The rose is dark, velvety and beguiling. The sillage is very good, but unfortunately the longevity is mediocre, max. 3 hours. The bottle, on the other hand, is a dream! Pour Petit et Mamans by Bulgari is also a powder fragrance, but a completely different scent: clean and innocent.
Feminine, more for dates than for the office.
If you like creamy, fluffy fragrances, you'll love this embrace, which is also totally affordable.
A little retro, romantic, flirtatious. A little decadent. Something of the great Gutsby. Sentimental. Something of the old world that can dock very well with the present day. A fragrance for a woman, not a girl. Playful, cuddly, but not well-behaved. Classic boudoir vibes, and the little black latex bow fits in perfectly.
Timeless. Powdery. A very subtle animal note is also present. For me an evening/night fragrance or in winter also during the day, just a little out of place in the business area. Powdery/floral, but more powdery than floral. But no baby powder, no! But the powder puff in a boudoir, feminine and flirtatious.
The fragrance evokes a special longing for the past, reminiscent of an era that once existed. Or could be, you don't know exactly. It may even be a longing for a bygone era that never existed, but is rather a composition of different eras, consisting of everything we love and admire.
I'm sitting in a boudoir, cherry-red velvet walls, the lights are dimmed, an expensive scented candle is burning, I'm sitting at the dressing table, several red lipsticks in front of me, my silk negligee glistens in the candlelight, classical music in the background, I'm combing my hair, time has stood still, nothing is more important than here and now. I am relaxed, well-groomed, self-confident and a little in love with myself.
Uplifting, vintage style feminine fragrance!
Inviting, cozy, cuddly and fuzzy.
Personally, it reminds me of Sweet Dreams for Women by Joseph Jivago.
Classy. True to style. I could swear I smell some ambergris too. Very French.
Woman wearing Osez Moi looks upper class, she is well dressed, high quality cut, Roeckl gloves, everything screams old money. Glam and retro.
But she can also do other things. She does when everything is asleep and she doesn't have to be so good.
Not too sweet thanks to the camomile. It smells expensive, the woman has class. I can't help but think of the Hannibal series and the beautiful Bedelia Du Maurier / psychiatrist and former colleague of Hannibal when they both lived in Florence. Next to Twin Peaks one of the best series ever. Vetiver makes it mature. And very important for me. Sweet doesn't drift into oriental or gourmand.
If this fragrance were a drink, it would be strong, creamy rum with a scoop of bourbon vanilla.

He who dares not...
...who doesn't win.

Today I reacted to the imperative of Chantal Thomass : Dare me !
I, as an officially certified rabbit's foot, felt immediately addressed.

In the English department store you cannot test - so the " risk " already starts with the purchase.
My brave side was provoked - and I took the scent with me.

Would his attitude be "daring"? I have to say - yes.

Its powderiness does not remind me of good baby powder at all - but of the powder puff of a seductive lady who likes to look at herself in the mirror.
Its appeal is further enhanced by the floral components - especially the deep red rose - which harmonises with its lipstick.
Camomile and vanilla bring calm to the sensual fragrance - because its wearer is also calm itself.
She knows about her attractive charisma and her effect.
Vetiver has a grounding effect - because the lady also has both feet on the ground.

She slips into her sexy lingerie by Chantal Thomass which strengthens her self-confidence.
Would a man dare speak to her?
In the end she doesn't care - because she is satisfied with herself.

Sweet&soft
If you're looking for a fragrance which echoes Villoresi's "Teint de neige" with even more powder and vanilla, "Osez-moi" could be worth a try, although it is not a daring perfume (as the name might indicate). On the contrary, "Osez-moi" is soft, but persistent with a sweet drydown consisting of loads of vanilla and a strong addition of musk and patchouli, which prevent the fragrance from smelling like a product designed for child care. I don't detect many flowers in "Osez-moi", just a hint of rose and chamomille. Longevity is excellent. You really have to like the combination of powder, musk and vanilla in order to feel comfortable wearing this. The powdery-musky aspect is quite pronounced, but on the right person this fragrance smells fabulous. My daughter receives many compliments when she sprays it. And the pretty bottle by Chantal Thomass is a real keeper, too.
