Interesting Facts
Hugues Guerlain founded the Salomé company in about 1909. Perfumer Maurice Blanchet, who was already producing perfumes under the Coryse name, took over Salomé in 1924. The merger of the two brands eventually resulted in Coryse-Salomé, a cosmetics and perfume company that has remained on the market to this day.

However, the official website only lists the fragrances "Épilogue", "Intrépide" and "Nuit d'Orient", but there are apparently still two flankers of the latter.

Monsieur Blanchet later created perfumes for the Worth fashion house in collaboration with René Lalique, which became world famous. The most famous of these is certainly "Je Reviens" from 1932.
