Between the sheets... where you could land if you didn't vomit!!!!!! :D
Oooh, it's been a long time since I've tested a Demeter scent. Too bad, because I always like to test these scents so much. There are a lot more of these fragrances that I would like to try out and I hope that I will be able to add to many more.

This one here is "Between the Sheets". And although it might sound like "mattress sport" now, it's actually a cocktail that was created in the 20s and probably was meant to get drunk fast anyway, so it could just land between the sheets afterwards, so the name was chosen appropriately :D

The cocktail consists here mainly of rum and cognac, so that two or three of them could really hit it,... at least that's what they say :D But often without noticing it right away, because such cocktails usually taste good, because because of the amount of fruit juices they contain, you can't taste the taste of the alcohol or hardly taste it. So you like to tilt such swill down quickly, one after the other... only to end up in bed late at night.

But unfortunately the night is not always "joyful", because you might have drunk too much, so that the toilet itself becomes the best friend of the night. And only if you're lucky. If you are unlucky, you spend most of the night in the toilet of a buddy who is not exactly known for his cleanliness, so that you puke your soul until about half past five in the morning in his filthy toilet, while the buddy watches some crap on TV in peace of mind and sometimes calls something to you. But not how you feel, but rather when you think about going home... argh :DD

The fragrance:
The beginning is very fruity-sweet. The main fragrance here is passion fruit, followed by lemon and then mango. The rum smells rather rudimentary, presumably almost like in real fruity cocktails, where one hardly notices the alcohol taste as described.
A little orange is added, then here and there light alcoholic notes and you have a summery and fresh fragrant good mood scent.
A little later the alcoholic scent becomes a little stronger, so that these scents together with the fruit juices actually start to smell like cocktails. But since I don't know "Between the Sheets", I can't say if the scent of the real cocktail is hit right.
Also later it still smells fruity (of course, there are a lot of fruity scents included here!), but then it is more difficult to keep them apart. But although I can no longer say with certainty which fruit I smell best from the base (hm... I think I could almost say multivitamin here :DD), I like the general scent very much.

The Sillage and the shelf life:
The Sillage is weak. In the beginning you still have the feeling that the Sillage is quite okay, because the fruits and citric notes radiate well, but after only a few minutes the intensity fades away again. So here you have to get really close in order to be able to smell the scent of one or the other. In addition, the fragrance is a short fun with just four hours, as it gets weaker and weaker after spraying.

The bottle:
Ah, yes, the Demeter flacons. I have never liked them so much, because they look (with a few exceptions) quite useful for me, and are probably so. I mean, Demeter makes a lot of fragrances where it wouldn't be so economical to put every fragrance in its own or fancy bottle. So they are already practical, I know that, but still the flacons and the label on them are ugly :D

Soo, this smell ain't so bad. It doesn't smell particularly synthetic, unusual or repulsive, as we know it from many other Demeter fragrances (... oh, you have to try the fragrance "Tarnish", he he... :D).

Because of the many fruity notes, the fragrance seems more feminine than unisex, but as always it's a matter of taste. For the summer it's certainly quite nice, and I think it's not so bad on warmer days that the fragrance is a little weaker, as many fresh or summery fragrances have a rather weak aura anyway. In any case, it can be used during the day or to celebrate.

Hmm... and if you're celebrating somewhere, especially in summer, and you're tipping down a lot of drinks, then you don't get the idea to ride in any rides if there's a folk festival or fair nearby. All I'm saying is: Many drinks + breakdance rides don't get along very well! :D First of all you have your fun... but maybe you spend the night on some filthy toilets, aaaaargh, hopefully that will never happen to me again, that was SO disgusting! Unfortunately I know that this will happen to me again sometime... because I am stupid or something... :DD

Well then, thanks for reading and have a nice evening :)

Light, fruity tropical drink
In general, I'm not a fan of the Demeter scents. However, this one surprised me - I like it! It's light, fruity & tropical, just like the drink of the same name.

Recipe for Between the Sheets

3/4 oz rum
3/4 oz orange liquer
1 oz mango juice
1 oz guava juice
1/2 oz lemon juice
1 oz passion fruit

Shake with ice. Strain into chilled glass.

A cocktail from the 1920s or 1930s but destined to be worn as a fragrance today. Recommended for sampling, if for nothing else, to experiences an unusual scent.
