The 50th - A golden wedding...
Early 90s, a balmy summer evening.
A French couple, already together for very many years, spend a few days together in Provence, far away from their home, Normandy.
Thierry, an extremely obliging, polite and sensitive gentleman in his late 60s, and his wife Antoinette, a delicate, fine and neat lady of the same age. They have rented a small bungalow beyond civilization.
It is a Sunday, the two are each relaxing in a lounger in the garden, holding hands, their faces turned skyward, eyes closed...
Birds chirping, butterflies hovering, bumblebees buzzing, the wind blowing, the Mediterranean a few miles away...

Suddenly Thierry stands up, doesn't say a word, smiles gently at his Antoinette...
Just like always, just like 52 years ago, when they met for the very first time, in the schoolyard...

Antoinette is gobsmacked, is speechless, looks bizarrely at the ring, then deep into her Thierry's eyes, and the first tear rolls down.... She looks again at the ring, again at her soulmate, and asks incredulously:
"My angel, you're not going to... are you?" before she can finish the question, her husband interjects, "Yes, ma chérie, I am!"
... "My Antoinette... my heart, my soul, my life; my everything...
Fifty years it is now, to the day, do you remember then?" her husband tries to bring her memory of their wedding to life.
- "Of course I do my angel, like it was only yesterday..." she replies in a shaky nervous voice.
- "That's right... And I knew then: you are THE woman, you are THE one.... My heart, I hereby ask you: Will you be my wife once more?"
BOOM!
Antoinette breaks down, tears flowing down like Niagara River waterfalls, her entire body shaking like she's at the North Pole....
She goes down on her knees as well, feeling slain with happiness, hugging her Thierry as tightly as she ever has and whispering in his ear:
"My angel, I want to spend the next 50 years with you too..."

I wanted to dedicate my 50th comment to this noble bouquet of flowers. I got to know him through the dear Parfuma Alliage, and by the rating can be seen: I find him fabulously beautiful.
Not for myself I would buy him, but I see him clearly on a woman. This fragrance belongs in my eyes crystal clear to the ladies.
All too detailed I would like to give for once no description again.
This Amarige is roughly speaking a fruity-floral and in the base slightly oriental treasure, which is mMn best suited for the warmer days.
Very opulent, very strong and intense, with the floral notes in the foreground, but in a very impressive way for me personally.
A fragrance full of power, full of personality and full of charm, which underlines the femininity of a lady...
A fragrance that symbolizes beauty and happiness...
A fragrance for the radiant bride in summer...
