Interesting Facts
The high-quality premium products of the French label GUSTAVE EIFFEL are intended to be nothing less than a fragrant tribute to one of the greatest architectural visionaries of our time: Gustave Eiffel, namesake of the line, which so far includes five luxurious fragrances, created more than 300 spectacular structures, including, of course, the Eiffel Tower, the structure for the Statue of Liberty in New York and the Pia Maria Bridge in Portugal.

Gustave Eiffel's love of clean lines, the special elegance of his works and the passion for striking aesthetics, all this Phillippe Couperie, a direct descendant of Gustave Eiffel, wanted to transport into the exclusive world of premium fragrances, thus creating a fragrant memorial to his famous ancestor.

The fragrances were to do justice to Gustave Eiffel's extraordinary life's work and express his special nature, which was shaped by the French lifestyle. For this reason, the creative team of Robertet was brought on board as perfumers. In addition to the high reputation of the perfume artists, it was their shared history that tipped the scales in favor of the collaboration. The Maubert family - owners of the House of Robertet - asked Eiffel as early as 1893 if he could design a greenhouse, and under the leadership of Jean-Baptiste Maubert, the result was finally awarded a gold medal at the Great World's Fair in 1900.

A multi-faceted collection full of dedication and luxury has emerged from the renewed collaboration. Fragrances bearing sonorous names such as "Rose de Paris," "Bois de Panama," "Lotus de Hanoi," "Porto Vintage" or "New York Liberty" each represent one of Eiffel's inspiring works, setting sensual accents with floral ingredients, with roses and jasmine, with precious patchouli or even with exotic resins.
