Wash me, but don't wet me!

...it works very well with Glow, at least when I feel it. When you reach into the drugstore shelves, who thinks of suddenly holding such a clean power scent in your hands? Usually such star fragrances are hardly to be outbid in the matter of irrelevance. Here Jlo goes a refreshingly different way with the Sauberduft, published in 2002. But Glow is not a spawn of complexity now. It doesn't have to be. The interplay of the scents results in a "freshly showered" feeling - full on the twelve. Bright flowers, soap, musk. Bam. A very present clean scent with brutal recognition value. This perfume doesn't need an overloaded fragrance pyramid to work.
After all these years, Glow does not yet seem to have become a victim of the widespread reformulation virus. I hope it stays that way for a long time. A final anecdote about the durability of Glow:

around eight in the evening... Girlfriend gets in the car

I'm like, "Wow, Glow!"
Girlfriend: "uhhhh.... well"
I'm like, "Huh, I can smell it, can't I?"
Girlfriend: "I sprayed it on this morning..."
I said, "And I haven't sprayed since?" "

Soap, just soap

When my journey with Parfumo began I was looking for a clean scent, which smells like cream and freshly showered. I tested Glow 2 years ago and it really smelled like pure soap on my skin, terribly pungent but nice and creamy after hours of persistence. On a friend it smelled really heavenly! Sweet, creamy, soft, the way baby skin smells, just beautiful. Thus, I had to give him to her, because I could not sit on me and I always thought of the harmony and symbiosis, which Glow entered into with her skin chemistry.
In September 2021 Glow was on sale and I unfortunately had to buy him again, knowing that he does not develop so well on me. Sprayed on is again this pungent soap smell, which I find you actually really good there. It burns properly in the nose. After hours, this wonderful base is there again, which does not have the same effect on me, but is quite creamy. And unfortunately, really unfortunately I have to admit to myself that Glow and I do not go together. Because I can not wait those hours until he smells good, my nose can not stand it and I just smell like a bar of soap.... Too bad!
On the right wearer he is really an absolute dream scent! For everyone who is looking for a Saubär fragrance, try the times, I wish you the perfect base from the beginning!:)

....a coincidence find.....the name j.Lo was not..the test bottle without the chain already rather...at first it is sharp, then I find it quite great...fresh, elegant, unsweet...my son says insect spray...when the beginning has laid down I'm all over it, especially in summer, with hot weather..will add it to me now for the 3rd time ... he brings me to the south, sun, hot white sand, the sea and has for me something magical ... no idea what it is ... some old smell memory apparently comes ..... I love him ...

The early 2000s. JLo has her heyday. You see and hear her everywhere. TV, radio, movies, interviews, in love with Puff Daddy (now P.Diddy). She's the Latina, Miss Butt (can you even say that nowadays?!)
She knows how to dress (I remember the green Versace dress), knows how to behave, what to say when and how, can act, sing and dance. Everything is bling, bling and she can do everything. Hip hop combined with glamor. She was simply cool.

Well, I want to be a little JLO too. I also come from a "hot" neighborhood in Swabia. I already have good prerequisites.
Hair streaked, tanning beds, nylon trousers and baby blue or pink tops, large gold hoop earrings, shimmering lip gloss and now the most important thing: at least 7 sprays of Glow. Sprayed everywhere, mind you. So that I can be smelled.

Glow simply smells clean. And glows. The silage was really good back then. It stayed with me for quite a long time, even when I was out of my JLO era.

For me, it belongs to the early 2000s.
I still wear it today when I want to feel "clean".
It's perfect for the start of spring, which is also the reason for writing a review.
Pure, clear and radiant.
Of course I no longer wear nylon pants, don't go to Soli and no longer have blonde highlights in my hair, but I have had Glow in my permanent collection for over 20 years.

Back again and again

I wear this perfume again and again since the release year. In between I had a longer break. Shortly before I met my current life partner I have in me again zugelegt.

I love this soap smell, this cleanliness that radiates this fragrance and the durability is just enormous. My friend met me with this fragrance and said that he associated me with it and no matter what fragrance I wear now none would be able to tie to this fragrance.

To me this fragrance reminds me of my youthfulness, freshness and dreams that last forever.
I am looking for a fragrance that comes close to this but haven't found it yet. But he is out there, I know that!
