Simply EDP is one of my favorite scents of all time. Really excited to see these “ touch of” bottles recently on fragnet. So scent-wise yes it is all the leather from
the original and nothing but. Ignore the listed notes. There is no nutmeg. No mandarin. Just the leather. Which would be amazing BUT my skin ate it right up. it’s only been a couple hours and I can barely smell it at all. I am so glad I never bought a bottle for the exorbitant asking prices from eBay. It’s worth the $20 I paid for it but man I wish it performed as well as the original! Even half as well, but nope not even half :(

Catwoman for ever

Since it's my birthday at carnival time, there was often a costume party.

Monks, nuns, Indians, cowboys, Emma Peel and John Steed - everything was a mess.
And I was the sexy Catwoman in between.

Unfortunately not in a skintight leathersuit but in my black gymnastic suit with which I trembled at school over the hated balance beam.

But on the dance floor I made a smoother figure in the dress, because the drop height wasn't that high.

at least I would have liked to wear real leather back then - to increase my teen's wickedness.
A few Simply Leather sprayers would have been enough to turn me into the status comic heroine.

The leather note here is uncompromisingly superficial - and only the violet can look modest.

If you're not currently on the road as a Catwoman over the rooftops of New York, it could be a little too much of good leather - too one-dimensional for me.
The layering is already in order.

I sprayed it with the freshly blooming Eau des Jardins by Clarins - and the impression is more pleasing and multi-layered.
The flowers lighten the black leather and give it transparency.
The feeling of a heavy motorcycle gap gives way - and makes way for a soft leather panty to which one wears a white blouse.

Catwoman in city fine.

I will layer Simply with other fragrances and am looking forward to the respective outfit of my comic heroine.
