Cheap junk?? No! I love the...

I don't like the La Rive fragrances. All of them smell artificial, synthetic, cheap....
There is only one exception.... WOMAN

I can't help but think this one smells fruity to me. Especially after the spicy top note has died down a bit. Is it Fressie, rose and jasmine in the trio that knocks me out so?
Or the whole combo with incense, allspice and woods?
Immediately after application, I smell an alcoholic note very briefly. After that, I immediately smell allspice and frankincense. Balsamic, spicy, soapy. Not at all intrusive but very pleasant.
At that moment, I already notice how a smile conjures up in my face. Yes he is (m)a magic fragrance, one that makes me happy and satisfied.

He reminds me in certain moments of Peony & Blush Suede Cologne - rose with leather.... but only for 30 min. then it gets darker, smokier, woodier.
For me, it smells neither cheap nor syntetic but like good cosmetics. Very well-groomed and not at all stuffy.
The base remains long, but I spray very happy again and again, always have the 30 ml bottle with me to be able to conjure up a smile on my face throughout the day.

A bit I'm already sad that this fragrance with some so badly cut off. For me, he is a little treasure.

Nothing like this has ever happened to me before

...that I wear only one fragrance for an entire week, straight through. I even do it several times a day, because this cloud of security is addictive. I know the example on others, but not on my skin, so I can't say in detail how much exactly the two are similar, but if someone were to walk past me wearing Larives Woman, I would think it was "pour femme by Lacoste", which I could never see on me either, but liked on others. But since I've just been to Dm and "Moon flower" turned out to be a disappointment to my nose, I wanted to pick up something as a consolation besides "lovely peony". Since "give me love by Larive" totally wowed me, I tested other fragrances from this brand, found this one nice and took it with me without giving it much thought. Since testing it at home, I couldn't let go of it. I wore it to bed that night as well and even imagine that it was the first scent that helped me sleep even better. It doesn't last very long and it's also intrinsically close to my body, but even when I half-shower in it because I can't get enough of it, it doesn't hurt anyone. It even reminds my boyfriend of shower gel funnily enough, I'd smell like I'd just showered to him. To me, it's a total comfort scent. When it hits my nose, everything in me feels depths of relaxation, no matter what state of mind I was in before. It's a quiet love, but all the more beautiful.I NEVER get enough of that understated vanilla note that resonates in the scent for me, I could snuggle head to toe in it and sleep in it. It is my personal cuddle cloud no matter where I am. I don't want to be without this scent anymore and need a refill soon, it's almost empty. Only I must then learn again, also times again other fragrances to me ranzulassen ;)

I took advantage of the action week at the Bückware. For the price, you could give it a chance.

The first time I smelled this fragrance at a friend's house at a family party. She was asked what a great scent she was wearing. She joked about how cheap it was. Now I remember years later.

I think it is similar to the crocodile scent, but it is very one-dimensional. The bottle has the same presentation, but looks cheap against the original. The durability is quite decent.

My bottle is at work and I apply two squirts when I need a refresher a day. I find it always fits and always goes. It does its job. If this bottle runs out, I'll probably replace it with the original. But not because I'm not satisfied, but because you can get the original very cheap now.

My conclusion, yes, it works. :-)

La Rive is always highly praised here for good dupes. (For) Woman has been jumping in my eye from time to time. The cartons on the Bipa shelves are always spread out to waste space. The presentation speaks more for understatement than for cheap goods. And I'm not perfume snob at all. So get that stuff up here! It smelled wonderfully fresh on the test strip.

But oops... What's that? What's that? I first smell diffuse synthetic freshness on the skin. Kind of not as nice as I expected. Allspice and freesia, is that it? Well, well, if you say so. . Do you know that when cheap room scents somehow smell fresh and flowery? But not after a certain flower but just somehow after flower halt. That would be h8ie the top note.

Then we continue with Lacoste pour Femme. He lives off the smell of fresh shower and cream. But already a good hour ago and at all it is much too warm again. Just before you start sweating. The Lacoste is a huge human being. But it doesn't smell sweaty, but like warm, freshly groomed skin.

La Rive Woman smells the same, except that the chemistry is pretty much in the background, which makes the fragrance seem quite musty and dull despite the clean freshness. That's what bothers me so much here. A clean scent, a skin scent with a funny chemical note in the background. I'm getting really out of shape from the smell. It reminds me of fake perfumes that are thrown away at street markets in certain tourist centres. I used to sniff it there once in a while. Most of them smelled like soap, alcohol or just chemical. Say: La Rive Woman smells to me like I imagine a fake Lacoste pour Femme.

So despite 35% (does this pay off at all with such a favourable fragrance??) it was not packed.

I would strongly recommend those who are looking for a cheap alternative to Lacoste to test this dupe beforehand. Maybe you'll have more luck and don't smell the chemistry like that.

I made a splash on the back of my hand. I smelled the scent for about 3 hours. There was no base. The whole thing somehow fell apart and after said 3 hours mur gave more of a soapy touch to the skin. Sillage was also rather weak. However, the fragrance is sold in 100ml tubs anyway. You can spray more generously than that. But for me, Woman isn't an option
