Interesting Facts
The birth of the fashion label "Léonard" is dated 1958, when Daniel Tribouillard opened a fashion studio under this name with his wife and two daughters. From the beginning, Tribouillard created his designs for the haute couture market and developed new textile processing methods, which were later patented.

As early as 1960, the "Léonard" brand launched a collection of printed sweaters, which gained worldwide exposure in the fashion world. This was followed by another line of printed silk jerseys in 1968 and finally the first boutique in 1970. The popular fabric prints became a trademark at "Léonard" because the flowers, ornaments, or even the fully fashioned pattern were difficult to print.

After "Léonard" established itself on the national market, the range expanded into the international market in the early 1970s. Since then, the clothing range has included pants, jackets, and tops in addition to dresses. Other additions included accessories like scarves, hats, necklaces, belts, leather goods, brooches, women's and men's perfumes.

The "Léonard" label is globally present and is particularly popular in Japan due to its colorful prints and lightweight materials. Daniel Tribouillard, the man behind the Léonard label has filed countless other patents over the years, revolutionizing textile processing methods to some extent. It's interesting to know that "Léonard" has been a member of the French Federation of Couture Fashion ("Fédération Française de la Couture") since 1994.
