Gourmand violets and roses
La Rose Legere opens with a gentle swirl of sweet fruits on a bed of powdery violets and roses and greenery. It's absolutely charming and feminine with a brightness that simply wakes you up. This is the most beautiful part of the fragrance. It brings to mind a sweet young girl who's just very gentle and understanding and feminine.
After that brief phase, the projection becomes less pronounced and it seems to lose a bit of its brightness. On me, rose and bergamot becomes a tad more prominent, backed by violet and something a bit bitter a musky. It's less girly than it was, but still feminine, in a grown-up way.
I enjoyed this very much. I like how it is so wearable and laid back, but somehow manages to exude class. It could have developed a little more, but it didn't, and the longevity on me was incredibly weak, lasting about 2.5-3 hours before fading entirely.
However, if you like sweet and light floral gourmands, this is definitely worth a shot.
