The remains of grandma's Christmas cookies in June
I love vanilla, but this one won't warm me up. The scent is just not tangible for me. I'm thinking, "Was that it? Is there anything else coming?" But no, there's no development. What I smell is and remains boring and old-fashioned for my personal taste.
Basically, vanilla from Molinard is reminiscent of Omas butter cookies or vanilla croissants, but not delicious. More dusty and a little rancid. The leftovers in the cookie jar that are still left in June. Old cookies that were no revelation when they were new.
The weak Sillage and durability come just in time.
Too bad - I was in Grasse near Molinard and saw how the fragrances are made. Tradition and craftsmanship still play an important role here, you definitely get quality. Only my case, I'm afraid, isn't that scent. It may be that Molinard is more experienced on the flowery track

Pure Vanilla
Of all the vanillas I’ve ever tried, Molinard’s version is possibly the truest vanilla out there. For those of you who are looking for vanilla fragrances that AREN’T sugary or cake-y, try this one! It smells exactly like the vanilla extract from a bottle. I didn’t find it to be boozy, dessert-like, or anything else. It is JUST VANILLA with good projection and lasting power. For this reason, it is also excellent to layer with any perfume you’d like to give some depth and/or gourmand edge to. It is guaranteed not to interfere with any of the notes except for adding straight up vanilla to it. The dry down gets a tad powdery but I love that.
