Nana de Bary is an international artist, designer, trendsetter and perfumer.... Of three fragrances ("Classic Pink," "Green" and "Bronze").
The Swiss multi-talent studied fashion in Milan and design in New York, lived and worked in Tel Aviv and Vienna, where she opened a store in the early 90s, offering bags and T-shirts of her own design and cosmetics. She complimented her range with three self-composed perfumes, which soon became a hot tip in the Viennese fashion and art scene. The clientele was so enthusiastic that a small but veritable cult arose around the three fragrances.
In December 2004, she was in Khao Lak, Thailand, when the tsunami catastrophe hit that stretch of land. She barely survived. When Nana de Bary returned from Thailand, she closed the store and stopped producing her perfumes. She continues to live in Vienna and has since worked exclusively as an art photographer. She dedicated her first major photo series to the element of water.
However, the production of her fragrances did not stop: the small perfume brand Nanadebary is represented by Project 21 (which is the "Produits de Luxe" segment of the cosmetics group L'Oréal). The compositions and the exclusively natural, high-quality ingredients were preserved, but the concentration was increased from EdT to EdP.
