It is known that cumin in fragrances can smell little bit like bo, but for Spice Bazar it is not the case. Still, the cumin in here can be a bit divisive. Very palatable in my opinion, together with the yuzu and the ginger it gives that Nishane fizzy opening that we love from Ani but with loads of spices and just a hint of sweetness. I don't know how a spice bazar smells like but for me, as a hardcore niche lover, this fragrance is amazing. I would say best suited in spring and autumn but it can be work all year around. Jorge Lee did amazing with this one, his best work for Nishane in my opinion. Sadly it is being discontinued. It is not a blind buy, sample first. Longevity and projection above avarage, 12+ hours.

Not for everyone
I certainly agree to some extent with ScentedSalon and Odysseus. To me it is a gorgeous take on cumin as a primary note, the entire purpose of the fragrance is to make the cumin palatable to mainstream audiences.
It reminds of being back at the egyptian bazaar in Istanbul, it is complex and spicy.
From the initial blast of photorealistic yuzu and juniper to the cumin cedar combo that lasts for hours then finally the black pepper which is just so beautifully done.
Will this garner compliments?
Most likely not, is it a cumin lovers dream?
Oh yes.

Performance as per usual with Nishane is outstanding

Simple and to the point: I love this juice! It is never disappointing, divine saffron, which I adore. Gimme more!

Tauer is the only one who makes perfumes w/cumin that aren't disgusting. Can't believe that this BO + wood goes for 160 Euros!

Sophisticated, refined, sweaty body odour! Similar in style to Eau d'Hermès. If you're into that kind of a scent, it is very well done.

Slight green spices wafting on the wind. It is as though you are smelling the bazaar from across the salty Bosphorus.
