Delicious and flowery lemon cake

I LOVE this fragance. It is really nice for me. It smells like a lemon pie....mmmm delicious! It remember me to lignum vitae by beaufort London, but sweeter and brighter, less Woody and more balsámic and flowery. It is very noticeable the balsámic vibe of myhrr and benzoin that with the sweetness of vanilla give this vibe of a lemon cake and on the background a very beautiful mix of flowers: lavender, ylangylang, magnolia .. wonderful! The opening is more citrus and sweet and during the dry down the flowery and spicy part grows Up.
The fragance is unisex and for me It is easy yo wear at every time and on every season. Perhaps only for very elegant and classic situations would be not very recomendable.
The performance is not bad but It is notba beast. The longevity is good, It is a long lasting fragance which lasts on my skin for more tran 8 hours, however the sillage is not very high and It becomes a skin scent Soon. It world Well un short distances...

Eva Kan and will

A soft a whirling blast of soft sweet herbal scrumptiousness. There is an extraordinary powdery vibe to this reminding me very strongly of the sweetness of a brand new plastic baby doll. It really suits the cartoon character. It is almost like a cartoon perfume at first sniff but then the more sultry playful side kicks in before it is too much of a joke. The vanilla benzoin combo sits there confidently grounding this perfume whilst the floral side plays. The floral, citrus and woody notes are individuals like the blocks of a cartoon, each one playing their frame quite clearly and then interacting with the others without losing themselves.

The ginger is the lovely twist in this perfume, like the outlines for the other ingredients. There is nothing to not like here. All is a soft and playful game with enough of a twist to keep you interested. Like a crazy candyfloss with herbs in and wooden stick included.

Well done and I love it for being such a fun perfume. I could see anyone being able to wear this from a child to a granny. A man could wear this if he had his own manly skin note but it is rather soft and powdery like after a kiddy bath.

Red, Yellow and White Florals...

Eva Kant opens with a splash of herb-laced grapefruit before quickly transitioning to an effervescent rose and geranium tandem supported by underlying dry anise and coffee with subtle hints of sharp lemon citrus and animalic castoreum peeping through. The herbal rose and geranium infused anise and coffee accord continues through the early heart, starting off strong before gradually giving way to a powdery ylang ylang, magnolia and lavender floral trio with bitter wood-like myrrh support taking over through the latter heart. During the late dry-down moderately powdery vanilla and benzoin take over as co-stars balanced by smooth sandalwood, as the diminished earlier spicy floral remnants fade. Projection is very good and longevity outstanding at well over 15 hours on skin.

The open to Eva Kant is probably the most recognizable aspect of the composition, tying it loosely to many O'driu compositions of the past and present. The culinary herbal aspects are there, as is the tremendous castoreum laden dulled rose and geranium accord that is found in some of Pregoni's best work. Where Eva Kant really goes in a different direction is when the ylang ylang and magnolia come into the picture with the dusty powdery facets of the composition really kicking in. The late dry-down in particular is quite pleasant with the powder softening, smoothed by relatively dry sandalwood in the base. The whole composition comes together rather nicely, though some may be put off if they are highly powder-averse. The bottom line is the 150 Euro per 50ml bottle Eva Kant resides around the middle of the O'driu pack. That said, "middle of the pack" from a great nose like Angelo Orazio Pregoni still means very good, with the composition earning a solid 3.5 stars out of 5.
