For crying out loud, do I have to... again?! ;-)
Quasar Fire all over again - order supplies. As it has become a good habit to rummage in the special offers of the importing Portuguese every time, I took all my courage and ordered Men Only. Courage because I have smelled the pepper-leather combi umpteen times already, I like it and there are umpteen scents that have these ingredients in them and pay homage to the concept, but nobody really got me hooked in the long run. Something always bothered me about them and they became boring very quickly. The proof was recently provided to me by a fan of di Fendi.

Here, however, I read ginger under the scents, so I had justified hopes that this could be something. And since O Boticario has never disappointed me, it could only end well. Or maybe not?
The bottle is a simple beauty and yet an eye-catcher with its matt black lacquered sides and the contrast of the non-orange but also non-copper content. The workmanship, as with O Boticario, is not used to the best, the pressed glass lacks the finishing touch. But no matter how much the eye eats along with it: the content counts.

First of all, the first spray was enough to show that the fragrances mentioned above only describe the rudimentary framework and the manufacturer's website does not give any more detailed information about this either. I think it's a bit of a pity, because this way you quickly get the heretical idea that somebody wants to hide something...

So I will try my best to give the uncle a little feel for the scent molecules:
Leather, amber, pepper, ginger - the four notes mentioned above are more or less equally represented from the beginning and do not really disappear in the further course. Only the ginger makes itself comfortable in the second row more quickly, but always supports itself with the elbows against the seat backs of the first row.
But there is more in the prelude! I mean, there's still something thyme to be heard plus something cold, ethereal that reminds me ad hoc of mint. But I'm a bit careful with mint, because depending on how the pepper is levelled, it can come across a bit "cold".
I can't say whether there is something citrusy about it, because a quick nose of ginger always leaves a little bit of citrus hanging out - as fresh and oily as a citrus peel, but greener with a sometimes slightly earthy touch
MO still has something unmistakably peachy about it. The peach pricks itself with the leather, the two peaks each other high, sweetishly tart; slightly earthy is to be heard. And then there is a beautiful basil - the icing on the cake in every cream sauce
But we don't cook here, we smell and sniff!

The pepper always remains present, weakening somewhat in the middle. Pepper is straightforward, likes to appear musty. But MO is one of the few EdT, where the pepper doesn't annoy despite its quite dominant position, because the amber says: "Hey, I'm still here!", unpacks his lasso, catches the pepper, "Easy, black man! And he keeps him well under control, until far below the musk dims the pepper more and more, but never completely turns off the light until shortly before disappearing. The vanilla-tonka-mix tries to do that, but it doesn't succeed either. Also the light of the leather never goes out completely. All in all: the later, the sweeter, but never too sweet. This is probably also due to the fact that the radiance, which is quite decent at first, diminishes very noticeably after about 3 hours and the fragrance becomes very close to the skin. After 5 hours the end of the flagpole is already reached. In itself a little too little, but considering the price, it is just about acceptable. Fits well into the cold season.
