My wedding perfume - lasts forever
For my wedding last year, I was looking for an extraordinary floral perfume that would last for a very long time.

Thanks to a super nice work colleague I have discovered Ninfea. I love it - very clear rosy, but still with a light grass-green twist. Not too much frills and the long lasting main note not only sweet (like many other floral scents according to my nose).

The perfume really lasts a long time; I once put something on my coat and after a month you could still smell it if you went close to the fabric. Of course this has advantages and disadvantages ;)
On the skin, a full day is no problem at all, probably two days would work if you don't use shower gel excessively (like me).

My 100ml version also came with a small funnel and a 7.5ml glass bottle; so I can always have it with me.

For me my absolute favourite scent, although not for every day. And the fragrance that brought me to niche perfumes! :)

A picture in green and gold
The greatest enemy of enthusiasm is expectation. Every one of us has experienced this at least once: The movie you finally go to after hearing so many good things about it before. The much talked about book. And the feeling of disillusionment when you see the film, hold the book in your hands. The stale taste of disappointment, because you find it ordinary, average, just not what you would have expected.
I always try not to have expectations. And sometimes I don't succeed With Ninfea it was like this: impossible to hear the name and not immediately have an image in your head, an image in green and gold. A pond and trees around it. Willows whose branches touch the water and summer heat that only reaches the crowns of the trees. A gentle murmur. Rays of the sun dancing on the water, the rays golden, the water dark green, almost black. You can't dive on this ground, it would be too deep, too deep. But you can see the water lilies floating on the water, soft white and pink like the faces of the nymphs who must live here on the bottom, which you can only guess.
Impossible to live up to this expectation. Impossible not to be disappointed. So very impossible that despite the temptation, despite the magic this name had on me, I hesitated for three full months before ordering a sample of it.
And then nevertheless among all the other samples this one was immediately selected. One spray, one breath It was all there. The picture in green and gold, the pond, the water lilies, the water spirits This fragrance is like a glass of water for a thirsty person: Sparkling, refreshing, infinitely delicious and sweet. A rose of deep, bright pink, which, although not yet fully blooming, already exudes a fragrance that makes you want to dive into and lose yourself in. Wild cherry, and we can literally feel its red juice running over our lips. Honeysuckle, beguiling, in the background. If a violet is present, it must flower very close to this rose, because it becomes one with its scent. And above all this there is fresh, lively, powerful green like the rustling of the trees, the wind blowing through the leaves, like the laughter of the nymphs bathing between the water lilies and you get the desire to join them.
I ordered the scent the same day

Stormy low "Ninfea" sweeps over Germany again
"... Gusts of wind up to 250 km/h will most likely reach the west of Germany towards Friday afternoon and take everything with them that has not been nailed down before. This is one of the reasons why the storm low bears the picturesque name "Ninfea" - water lilies are the only thing that has been able to resist this gigantic elemental force. If you are not as firmly rooted as the botanical namesakes of this - of course - hurricane launched by Profumum Roma, then run. As fast as you can. Otherwise this rosy wind will blow you out of your socks, you can be sure of that. Even without completely surrendering to "Ninfea", you can test at home in a simple self-experiment whether you are prepared for this hurricane: Just try to stick your whole head, or at least your whole nose, into a rose and stay in this position until the next morning. It is best to lie down comfortably on the lawn or a comparable meadow, ideally covered with small violets, so that it does not become so uncomfortable. Should you have the feeling the next morning: "This is it! That was great, that's what I always want now", then put on a weatherproof jacket and welcome the storm low with open arms. I'm sure they'll hold firm. If the rosy experience has made you uncomfortable - then go straight to your cellar, store tons of canned ravioli and a small camping stove and stay there until the storm passes you by and has taken the last remains of rose and grass with it. You'll thank me for it!"

- Yes, this is how Profumum's "Ninfea" presents itself. I always thought at Bronnley's "Rose Eau Fraîche", that's all the rose I could get. In Ninfea, this is probably no longer the case, but the oils produce such intensity, and this from the very beginning, that you really have to love this scent to be able to endure it. In my opinion, the grass forms a very harmonious, homogeneous mixture with the roses, it does not stand out individually but merges with them. However, the intensity does not match this direction. The title does not seem to have succeeded either, as water lilies directly evoke the image of water (!), dilution, lightness, softness, shallowness. I can't blame the violets, I just don't perceive them clearly enough, but they would certainly have provided a little more clemency. But they must have sunk to the bottom of my bottling to get away from the rose-grass couple.
I am now an avowed fan of profumum fragrances and may call some of them my own - but this is too bold for me, especially since I am not a rose-scent lover. For those, however, "Ninfea" would have to be the perfect fragrance, which is really worth the money.
