Luxury in a bottle

I had the opportunity to test this masterpiece when I actually went to the perfumery for Amber Aoud. I liked this good balance of a sweet, fruity creaminess with a slight heaviness that is not overpowering. There is an abundance of ingredients that are difficult for me to describe. The sillage and longevity are exceptionally good. The high price had held me back from an immediate purchase at the time.

After the drydown, it reminds me slightly of Blonde Amber. With the current huge discount on the Roja website, this fragrance is a must order. As with Amber Aoud, it's best worn in fall and winter. For me my favorite Roja fragrance after Amber Aoud.

I love you

An absolute dream of a fragrance that, for me, perfectly captures the feeling of love with its warmth, floral facets and deep scent. In addition, Ti Amo really smells completely different on every skin, so on my skin the warm and chocolaty fragrance notes come through above all, which are joined by very light floral fragrance notes. Meanwhile, on others, the fragrance develops into a floral, almost chypre-like scent that becomes slightly gourmand. Another masterpiece from Roja Dove that you simply have to smell. Certainly not for everyone, but for me it's a hit.

No Ti Amo from me....

I hardly dare to write this review about this so highly praised fragrance, which should probably smell like infatuation and love in perfection.... Ti Amo. How great doesn't that phrase sound? I imagined something sweet, romantic, warm irresistible.... What came next was a trip back in time... Again, a good example of how differently we all perceive scents..

Finally my sample came. 24 euros for 2 ml. I wanted to test this fragrance but absolutely. My curiosity was very big and my brain was turned off for a short time.... About YouTube has this creation yes a hype triggered, just before Valentine, as hardly any other fragrance, as one of the most beautiful fragrances ever. A masterpiece etc..

Carefully I have sprayed this fragrance as if the almost sacred and like a slap in the face came the first disillusionment. Sorry but this fragrance smells for me more than old-fashioned. The smells very unfashionable and everything else than sweet or let's say attractive. It's extremely opulent to me in a sharp and old fashioned way..Funnily enough there is no lilac listed but I smell lilac first and foremost. That awful old fashioned lilac scent that is also in Lilac Love by Amouage.... Plus a very sharp and musty neroli that scratches my nose all the time.... A bit of moisture in the basement..Sorry but better I can not explain it..

Where is the lovely, the soft, something that reminds me of love? I immediately get images in my head. Not of two people in love or anything to do with love, but images of a very opulent theater.... I'm way back in time. The distinguished audience is waving their fans and the ladies, including some gentlemen, are wearing big white wigs... The seats in the distinguished boxes are red as always, very padded and smell a bit like it smells in the theatre. Powdery, unventilated and a bit musty..

In addition, the scent from the beginning remains very close to the skin and has a very short shelf life. In contrast, the scent smells for hours on the paper strip that is immediately disposed of, because I find this scent absolutely awful..

Ti Amo - a complex composition that seduces with three magic words: "I love you!"

People can not be people without the warmth of love.

Already after the order Ti Amo is for me like a declaration of love to my person. Opulent and soft. Oriental and spicy. Fruity and sweet.

The dominant note for my nose is the orange blossom, which warmly embraces me immediately after application. The top note is complemented by ylang-ylang, heliotrope, spicy-fiery ginger and fruity, unfresh pineapple. All this smells very harmonious and despite the heavy flowers, the scent is never overwhelming for me, but always present in the background. Sometimes in life you just need a hug. - No words. No advice. Just a hug. The flowers are the beautiful words of nature with which she tells us how much she loves us.

The fragrance develops very slowly on my skin and melts with it. In its brilliant finale, dark cocoa notes and soft, sensual ambergris are added. These then remain present on my skin for a very long time and swing around my nose all day long.

Time - I would wear it in colder and warmer months in the day or evening.

Sillage - I was perceived, I received a compliment.

The Sillage is very strong in the beginning, but it subsides after 1-2 hours. Then the fragrance is perceptible close to the wearer without pulling a trail of fragrance behind it. This is very pleasant as the fragrance is present but never penetrating. And that's how it is in real life: Even if you don't always see love, you can always find it in your heart.
