Fresh-fruity freedom ... Merci, Monsieur Polge
And once again such a niche fragrance surprise, which I found thanks to this forum. My name came directly to perfumer Olivier Polge, who is responsible for two of my favourite fragrances: Bleu de Chanel and Allure Homme Sport. Can Chanel's supposed "house and court alchemist" do so much wrong? Probably not! Polges Kenzo fragrances are also fine water, even if they don't really play in my league of fragrances, but that's just a matter of taste.
And now to F, which happens to be an excellent match for my first and member name! :-) And yes: It also suits me, because it combines freshness, fruit (already again F), but also a discreet spice in its own way. No ingredient stands out unpleasantly here, which I would have expected from the "leathery notes" in advance, but which only provide the foundation for the cuddly fresh superstructure.
All in all I would assume a year-round freshness, which can be worn during the warm season, but is still not a typical summer scent. When I think of the fruiting body I do not inevitably think of apples, but there are also over 20,000 apple varieties (no joke). And so, as one always calls the citrus fruits neatly, one should perhaps also think of it with apples! ;-) But I digress: Lavender and pepper always work for me, actually. Unfortunately I can't say how Amber and Labdanum smell on their own, at least the overall composition and clearly the price of 30,- € for 100 ml convinces me. The bottle may not exactly be a decoration, but it depends on the contents, doesn't it?
