Well, I...
...I'm trying to decide whether or not to serve Alien for dinner. We have 14.30 o'clock and, because I didn't feel like cooking, we want to go to our Stammschnitzel restaurant...where the portions are generous, the service attentive and the food is brought quite fast. The small 15 ml Flakönchen I own is as big as the palm of my hand and fits perfectly into it. I hold it into the light and think of an oversized amethyst...purple, dark and mysterious The fragrance is unique...it always has been and always will be. I used to wear it up and down, of course I got tired of it at some point...because everyone was wearing it. So I had decided never to buy it again...but...exactly but...when I discovered the small edition of it in the perfumery a few months ago, I had to have this adorable thing.
I open the lid and sniff it...wonderful this jasmine which is discreetly audible...heaven if I sprayed it on now, the whole apartment would smell like it. My stomach is growling and I have to think about the schnitzel restaurant. A clean, small, rustic, rustic furnished swabian restaurant. I close the lid again. No...putting that smell on now is a waste. This scent needs its big entrance, not a swabian restaurant that is in the middle of nowhere and certainly not at 2.30 pm...but a club, a bar or at least a chic in restaurant after 10 pm. Alien is a monster as far as H+S is concerned...shy women or girls should not take it, this Jasmine-Cashmere-Ambra mixture is highly explosive and should be enjoyed with caution...and for some it causes a lot of headaches. Even if Alien is "only" a designer scent...it is phenomenally well done!

No more bad luck!
I go to therapy because I'm afraid of making mistakes. My therapist said that in a reality check, it simply wouldn't be possible to make countless mistakes every day. She sees a fear of making mistakes rather than the likelihood of me actually making them.
"Just take it easy and let it go" were her words. As a precaution, I made sure in her practice that she wasn't referring to the sphincter.

So I took her advice to heart and practiced letting go. It started with the handbrake. I noticed that it was pretty loose after my shopping trip when I heard the commotion on the street. And I thought that choosing the wrong checkout again was the fail of the day. Nope.
I couldn't avoid a bad hair day either. I had simply forgotten how long a strand had to stay wrapped around the curling iron to look like an angel. I was lucky this time: three burnt strands can be easily concealed. Just change the parting and put on a smile. Enough for work.

My colleague was celebrating her birthday and brought delicious cherry cake. I am dying for cherry cake. The fact that I would actually die for any cake remains my secret. I read somewhere that it would look more mysterious to the outside world if you were selective. My fridge was empty because I had forgotten to close the door. All the food had gone off, of course. So, with a growling stomach, I set to work on the cake.

"Hey, did you eat the whole cake by yourself?" my colleague Charlotte asked incredulously.

"Hm" I replied, undecided as to whether a yes from me would be considered gluttonous.

"Oh my goodness, it was all tin... Then there's nothing left for the boss!" she regretted in a tearful voice.
Charlotte was his perfectionist secretary with a perfect bun and perfect fingernails.

"Oh, the boss's belly is fat enough. He should eat some carrots," I replied, munching until I realized why Charlotte's facial expression had suddenly frozen Jo, the guy with the paunch was of course behind me. After a good telling off, I no longer knew where the stomach ache had come from. Psychosomatic, stupidity or a cherry overload.

Unfortunately, my therapy session had to be canceled the next day because I only realized at the "Zoo" terminus that I had probably got the wrong train. Not that a therapeutic session in the monkey stable wouldn't have been interesting.
However, I wasn't able to tell my therapist about my faux pas either. Because at the station, a young man who already looked pretty bedraggled asked me if he could borrow my Iphone 15, he had to call a cab because otherwise he wouldn't be able to get home. Poor guy. I wonder if he was just as unlucky I have to say he smelled pretty unpleasant, so I held my cell phone out to him with my arm outstretched while I breathed through my mouth. When he still hadn't come back four hours later, I made my way to my mother's house on foot. I had forgotten my front door key on the bus. I had to sleep somewhere.

Letting go had gone pretty well until then, hadn't it? I was starting to feel like an alien.
I shuffled through the city with my head hanging down, summertime was long gone and darkness was falling. Attracted by the light-flooded window of a perfumery, I entered. Everything was shining and it smelled so good. I asked if I could touch the bottle with the glittering Roja lid and before I knew it, the saleswoman was saving the bottle from shattering on the highly polished tiled floor in a matter of seconds. I gave her credit for this extraordinary reaction! As a result, I didn't have to pick up a single bottle myself. No, the nimble lady took care of that and sprayed everything onto a strip of paper for me from a safe distance. I just say service for the customer king.
Unfortunately, strangely enough, I didn't prove to be very good at choosing fragrances. Somehow everything smelled rather like shaving foam. That's because we're in the men's department, she said. What am I looking for? Preferably a fragrance that suits me. She scrutinized me and then held out a purple, rather wacky bottle, which she reflexively pulled away again. She thought she'd better spray it on herself. Maybe she remembered the near-accident from earlier.

The moment she sprayed the fragrance on, I was hooked. It was out of this world! Intense, floral, very sweet and so deep that it took my breath away. It must be the dominant jasmine flower, she explained. But what a particularly beautiful one. Different from what I was used to. Ambergris is responsible for the twist and the certain sweetness. And the cashmere wood shows up at the end in the base. Whoever this mysterious ambergris was, I just had to have it!
Alien was the name of the fragrance in the bottle, which reminded me of a beetle. Well, if that didn't fit. As I left the store, I felt protected by a higher power. I must have radiated the entire city with my sillage, it was so bombastic. Once you have smelled Alien, you will never forget it. Hard to beat in terms of uniqueness.

Something strange has happened since that encounter. I only realized two days later that I hadn't made any more serious mistakes and that my fear of them had disappeared. The nuclear aura that the right fragrance has on me and my surroundings is amazing. Alien always triggers a reaction. Almost nobody is neutral about it. After my boss showered me with compliments and Charlotte with cherry pies every day, I changed jobs. I now work in risk management. Error calculation and prevention. After all, that's what I'm an expert in.
From experience, I wouldn't recommend the scent for the office - too much cherry pie will make you round as a ball or the compliments will go to your head. Nobody needs hostility either.

By the way, I haven't had a bad hair day since then either. I have a theory for the happiness formula: A stroke of luck canceled out the alien streak of bad luck.

P.S. Next time I'm in the perfumery, I'm determined to give the service-oriented saleswoman a tip to practise letting go. After all, she had landed a lucky strike with me.

Alien woman
I would like to share two experiences with this fragrance with you. To describe him in general is very difficult, because he actually develops so individually on each skin as hardly any other, however, typical for all Mugler. They always polarize. Wonderful on one skin, terrible on the next. The chemistry just has to fit.
At a Mugler event years ago, my daughter fell in love with Aura. Wonderful on her, too extreme on me, even though I love smelling it on her.
I abhorred until that time Mugler overall, too intrusive, too artificial.
The lady at the presentation didn't understand my dislike, of course, and said, but you're the classic alien woman.
I laughed, Alien was the last perfume I could imagine myself wearing. It could fill entire halls with its sillage. I'd rather be naked then, with no scent at all. That's exactly what I told her.
I should give him just a little chance, was her request. I let myself in, following what I had learned as a child from my parents, first taste, then judge...
And so I got a tiny spray of the EDP on my wrist. The start was much fresher than expected. Then came
Jasmine, first pure and clear and some time later quite soft, the wood grounded the flowers. As if by a warm summer rain they are now on the ground in the fresh bark wood.
And then the sun comes and shines on it, the moisture evaporates and now the flowers radiate with full force their warm fragrance. Now ambergris also comes into play. In the process, an incredible energy is released. Like the sun of a late summer day or the first sun of spring. That's how I felt it and was thrilled. This combination at the end of the fragrance pyramid, gentle jasmine flowers, woody coated and mixed with amber.
It smelled wonderful on me.
I walked back to the stall and complimented the saleswoman.
She grinned and said only: "I said yet the classic Alien woman, I see the person and know which fragrance of Mugler fits"
Alien and Aura thus moved home with us.
Alien became my companion, not every day, but every day I wish I had that energy and strength he exudes. As fragile as you feel some days, like a delicate little jasmine blossom that can then unfold its fragrance so powerfully. And the extraordinary thing with me is that Alien stays close to the body. About an hour after spraying it on, only people who are allowed to be close to me perceive it. Very untypical for this perfume. But I myself smell it still for days in scarves or sweaters.

So when I need a refill and visit a perfumery we all know, unerringly reach for the big bottle of Alien, the saleswoman asks me if I want to give the fragrance away. I say, "no, it's for me." Her horror is written all over her
Face. "A woman like her and this ..how should I say...this extreme perfume..no, that doesn't fit at all, there are much nicer ones..may I show you something else"?
I'm angry, but too well behaved to show it.
I hold out my arm to her and say sugary sweet, "what do you think of this perfume"?
She sniffs and beams, "Wonderfully floral and very classy. It suits you, what is it?"
"Alien," I say, "because I'm an alien woman."
Feeling victorious, I leave her standing with her
mouth open Mouth to walk towards the cash register with my bottle.
And if she didn't die, I'm sure she's still alive today with her mouth open in amazement.

Alien ALIEN _a_l_i_e_n_ Abduction to another world
How you gave me the creeps! I was still so young when I met you for the first time! Shyly I entered the perfumery with a beating heart and my very first perfume voucher, which by far exceeded my usual budget of the drugstore fragrances I was familiar with.
Yes, I was a perfume virgin!
Glittering, sparkling, shimmering; a new world opened up to me. A mixture of noble scents welcomed me. Anticipation, excitement and fear. I looked around uncertainly, 1 step here, 2 steps there, but not too close to the shelves! A saleswoman approached me and asked perfectly formed, whereby she may be helpful to me. Of course I had suspected, hoped and yet feared this contact. I said quietly and shyly: "I'm looking for a perfume for myself!" The next question, in which fragrance direction to go, hardly helped me to feel more comfortable. Helplessly, I looked down the shelves. The shop assistant noticed my insecurity and sprayed 3 scents on test strips and off went my 1st real fragrance adventure! Tensely I sniffed and just as tensely the shop assistant watched me. She quickly got a feeling for the direction in which things could go in the still unknown scent world. Hypnosis and nina ricci were my favourites. I also found lolita fascinating. There were worlds between the perfumes I knew and this one. Smell explosion! Smell infatuation! Madness! The salesgirl noticed that I became more courageous and thought I was ready for you. She took you high up off the shelf Mystical, mysterious, eerie, dark. And then she spoke your name. Alien! It echoed in my head, ALIEN, the sound distorted _a_l_i_e_n_ and became deeper and deeper. I took a step back "No, he's not for me!" A fragrance with this name, which comes in such an extraordinary and self-confident flacon, frightened me. I didn't want to sniff you, not let you touch my skin. I didn't want to know you. Scary and psychic. I felt you were watching me. I hurriedly decided on two harmless, friendly scents and went outside, away from you and your creepiness I stayed well clear of you for the next few years. I still saw you waiting and patiently lurking. I was only too aware of your existence More self-confident, more mature and God knows no more perfume virgin, I approached you courageously 10 years later. There you were right in front of me: sublime, focused, confident of victory. With bated breath I touched you. You lay surprisingly comfortably in my hand. Strange and yet familiar. Mystical, unique, noble, but no longer eerie. A breath of what was about to await me enveloped you.
Like a true gentleman, you held yourself back comfortably until I was ready for you. No test strip should come between us. All or nothing. It's now or never.
And then you seduced me with full force, with all your senses and almost drove me out of my mind with your fullness and intensity. Electrifying, demanding and yet warm and soft at the same time. You tore me into your world. You brought me a huge bouquet of jasmine with a deep, long look that confidently promised everything I was longing for. Violet, dark, strange and yet eerily familiar. Attractive and powerful, enveloping and present Today you also give me security and safety. You are a comforting presence and from the beginning you were the perfect lover. My alien of the hour, still fascinates and surprises me with many a fragrance orgasm to cuddle you afterwards, to stay with me and to show the world that I belong to you!

extraterritorial excursions of the nasal mucosa
Alien belongs to the new generation of fragrances, which has no more olfactory course to offer, i.e. it came, saw....and triumphed, wants to plow allzugerne in the long run the skin, take the hair in fittings, the armpits to conquer, in short, the whole material to cells intersperses. No tender caresses of the Hesperides, cuddly Röslein, or delicately graceful jasmine, no, the whole complexity comes armored with chain rattles on the respective object. Alien captivates by its extreme durability, by its mocking Sillage, here was not saved on ingredients, on molecules, which stick like Pattex, which accelerate the Sillage still with 100 kilojoules on the last smell molecules. The targeted customer should have something for her Euro, she should be made smell-proof.
The scent in the FAZ revealed itself to me as a little letter with the words Tirez moi, poussez sur le flacon.... i did as brag... and my dog, who always has different scent preferences than me, but sometimes lies down in my faithful Chanel 19 arms, I thought to feel a little distance.
No comparison to the French perfumery art of the Polge Clan, or Roudnitzka, i.e. the elaboration of the fragrance, the pointed use of certain nuances, the combination of the ingredients with one's own skin, with sweat, with the personal aura of the wearer, which e.g. dominates the House Chanel in the most beautiful way. Even delicate fragrances like Chanel No. 5 L'Eau captivate with their excellent craftsmanship, very subtle and tender armor movements and inner smile. With Alien a whole bear family or better said a crocodile population rocks here, because said models can smell badly.... but I'm sure we'll perceive the alien.
Well, a scent, or a scent for young girls, that wants to be consumed in masses, that is often noticed in trains or trams, that might be worn in discos, or at music events of the same category, here: Mainly loud, bass drone at 190 dB. Not so much a scent for human dog noses who sniff a scent, who draw it in internally, break it down into components, rejoice at the top note, acknowledge the heart note with a smile and finally simply want to snog the base note. So there is for every nose, you might think, a lid and so it is also okay. The extraterrestrial polarizes, as is the case with extraterrestrials, the price is okay, because you get perfume here in high concentration, with the statement "Clear the path, I'll pass by here" and with a conclusive olfactory experience. The turn of the millennium has opened up completely new dimensions of perception here. Fortunately, there are houses like, I would almost say, Guerlain.... but I prefer to say Roja Dove... who specialize in nasal adventures

Strong floral on top, settles into a lovely warm floral. Nice, but not as interesting in anticipated. Reformulation, I'm guessing.
