Spherical memory

Normally I do not like fresh or fruity fragrances, except the course offers me something soft and creamy.
And that is exactly what Bright Crystal has to offer. It starts very sweet and fresh thanks to the pomegranate, later the magnolia becomes much stronger, even more perceptible than the peony. In the Drydown I smell through the musk then a wonderful sweet creaminess.
Wonderful how it caresses my nose in every facet!

I must tell a short story about this fragrance:
When I was pregnant with my daughter, I was looking for a good skin care for my baby ball. Due to my pregnancy-related odour sensitivity (pregnant girls, right?!!, then finger up!!) I could only tolerate very few scents, to my great regret.
So I went to the Douglas and I looked around. A very nice saleswoman advised me and showed me a body cream from Lancaster. I liked the smell and the texture right away and- oh wonder!- it didn't make me sick!
I celebrated this cream during and after pregnancy until it was eventually taken off the market. *howl*
It's been almost 4 years now.
Some time ago I was back at the Douglas and discovered Bright Crystal. When I sniffed it, I was confused. The scent seemed so familiar, but at first I didn't know what it reminded me of.
I left the store with Bright Crystal on my wrist and very thoughtful. At some point during the day and after countless sniffing, the enlightenment came:
It's the same scent as the body cream from Lancaster that I loved so much!!!
I rushed to Douglas and immediately bought a big bottle With this fragrance is for me this beautiful memory of my Kugelzeit forever preserved.

At first Pfui then Hui

Bright Crystal offers the worst start I've ever smelled. Instead of ice cubes and pomegranate, I smell something that could pass as a smooth pepper overdose. Which I don't know if it smells like pepper to me either. Just spicy and killing and totally inappropriate. It makes me really nauseous.
If I overcome the urge to wash off the scent completely, very quickly, it develops into a really great summer scent. Lovely, refreshing, light and also suitable for really hot temperatures. Then the man comes along who would have liked to sort out Bright Crystal in the flacon while testing it.
If the top note wasn't so unbearable for me, it would certainly have become a summer favorite, since it is extremely easy to wear, has a very good durability and should not be unpleasantly offensive to anyone (apart from this top note...).

He's moved out here now. I can't stand the start and thank God I still have one or two similar summer fragrances, which I like much better - Bright Crystal is not unique with the best will in the world.

Beautiful

Flowery and classic perfumes are not my usual taste. Usually I like it creamy, chemical or sweet and flashy. None of these things apply fully here.
It is a feminine, fresh, floral and relatively light fragrance. Magnolia gets through well with me Harmless and sexy at the same time.
Great for summer and spring.
I just fell in love with the bottle with the girlish pink liquid and the admittedly somewhat extroverted lid

Icy crystal

Fragile as a crystal. This is the best way to describe the fragrance.

Bright Crystal is a gentle fragrance that lays lightly on the skin.
The sillage is low, you have to come close to me to really smell him.
Nevertheless, a fresh cloud resonates, if I run past someone.
Exactly that makes him but the perfect companion at work.
If I do not know what kind of fragrance it should be, then I reach for him.

The prelude I expected citrus.The fragrance starts but already with flowers.Very light,very fine.
Not like jasmine,which screams one directly in the face.
Lotus and magnolia,gentle floral scents,expressing well-groomed.
The ice accord is not definable as a fragrance note,but you can feel it.
Bright Crystal has something "cool" about it,something unattainable.
In summer it feels refreshing.In winter it supports the cold air around me.
In each season it has a different effect,although I would not call the fragrance particularly complex.
I do not perceive woody notes from the base.
But it could ensure that it no longer seems so cool over time,but turns into a cuddly fragrance that seems a bit warmer.
The flowers, however, remain throughout

The shelf life is with me with 5-6 hours in order for such a light perfume.

Cool flowers! And not just for younger people!

Now this fragrance has also moved in with me. But neither by exchange nor by purchase. It "flew" to me because a friend's daughter got it for Christmas, she didn't like it after testing it and her mother felt too "old" to wear it.
Her last "resort" was me, she simply gave it to me as a present because she knows what a "nose of curiosity" I am. I gave her lots of test samples so that they could both have a sniff.
Now to the fragrance itself... even the slightly kitschy bottle may convey "youth". But the content is suitable for all age groups in my opinion. Because it is neither "too sweet" nor "too harsh", has a cultivated effect, is not a "sillage bomb", but is also not a "whisperer". Well in between.
The flowers exude a beautiful coolness, like a fresh breeze that provides esprit at just the right time. And at any time of year. A light fruity note adds small interesting accents and ensures sophistication.
This lingers for a while before a woody hint settles over everything, subtle and pleasantly warm, as if the sun were shining on an otherwise cold day.
With this overall potpourri, "Bright Crystal" becomes an "ageless" perfume for a number of occasions.
Quite simply: I like it even at 61 :-))
