An absolute masterpiece
This is a favorite perfume - not only from Xerjoff, but at all!

For me this fragrance is interesting, spicy, slightly oriental, sexy and elegant. He hits exactly the perfect accents to look fresh, like me mysterious.
There are actually a lot of great scents out there - but most of them have some strong content that I just don't like to wear after 3-4x. The thing I like so much about this scent is that it never gets on my nerves and always smells DIVINE.

It's hard to describe the fragrance in detail, but if you're really looking for a great fragrance that doesn't smell like any 0815 fragrance, you can't do much wrong with this fragrance.

10/10!

Tobacco for beginners ?
Today's comment is about a rather unknown Xerjoff perfume. I bought Join The Club - Comandante! blind and was not disappointed, here the buyer gets a wonderful tobacco scent, which is not as sweet as for example Tobacco Vanilla, or in the direction of ashtrays like Tobacco Oud goes (no offense meant with Tobacco Oud but for laymen smells the really so). The scent is simple but very well done, nice fresh pipe tobacco combined with fresh fruity notes and some floral, this gives a clear tobacco DNA without smelling like a pipe or an ashtray, this makes Join The Club - Comandante! especially suitable for beginners in the tobacco direction or even converts from designer fragrances, as Join The Club - Comandante! is not heavy to wear or contains animalic oud. The durability I would rate as good, but could be a little better good 8-9 hours are possible but with a good silage. I think Join The Club - Comandante! is unjustly so unknown, here you get a solid and special fragrance for a still acceptable price in my opinion .

Great potential / General problem with the new batches / Lives in the shadow of its big brothers, but it doesn't need to hide! / I'll tell you why ;)
Hello everyone,

You ("Join The Club - Comandante! | XerJoff" ) have been around for 11 years, how time flies. I've known you almost since the release and I'll be honest (as always), right at the beginning it wasn't mine and in 2019 I tested it again and again recently (01.09.23), but an older batch and a 22 batch.

Here are my thoughts:

The scent is floral - sweet - spicy and metallic. But it has changed massively over the years and you should be aware of that! Exactly the same "PHENOMEN" as in Amber Star , "Oud Stars - Alexandria II (Parfum) | XerJoff" , "Shooting Stars - Apollonia | XerJoff" , "Shooting Stars - Nio | XerJoff" , "Shooting Stars - Uden | XerJoff" etc.

These fragrances became sweeter and sweeter in the COURSE of TIME, here I name the "Oud Stars - Alexandria II (Parfum) | XerJoff" as an example = mMn the reason is the following (with e.g. Parfums de Marly 1:1 the same) = the COST of the perfume oils are very or too expensive, therefore the manufacturers like to use synthetic vanilla - based oils instead of "real" ones!
This thing usually has NOTHING to do with performance, because very often it is proportionally better (thanks to synthetics instead of real ones), BUT the point is that over the years the fragrance loses its character, its magic..., it loses what it used to be (in the past).

That's why my personal tip to you (I do it myself) is to always buy an older batch if you can afford it!
Why:

Those always come closest to the original fragrance in terms of performance, there are 2 options: 1. the fragrance can perform worse than current batches because, among other things, the mass of sweet oils is not present, 2. the fragrance can "mature", the real oils create new accords and the performance benefits massively from this....

And here in the case of "Join The Club - Comandante! | XerJoff" it is like this:

I probably needed a certain age to understand + appreciate that one... yes, probably. My "explicit recommendation (!)" everything up to 2021 is recommended, after that rather not, and before 2019 it's really exciting...

These are still the ones with rough edges and the H/S was really good back then! Today too..., but they are certainly on the sweeter side of life.

Some also compare it to "XJ 1861 Naxos | XerJoff" (I have a 2015 and a 2021, just by the way). Yes, I understand why those sometimes feel this "vibe", but you only have this with more recent batches (honey, tobacco, creamy vanilla and 1, 2 flowers), but earlier (before 2017) rather less.

If I really wasn't convinced, I wouldn't recommend it to you!

And now have a nice day/evening, or whatever you read this review, LG the Benny

Smelled once and bought immediately
I recently picked up a friend by car and when he got in, my first question was what the perfume was called. I had never noticed such a strong perfume before. I then went to my trusted perfumery and picked it up the same day within the next hour...

For me, this perfume always goes best with a suit, i.e. when I'm dressed more formally. Nevertheless, you can also wear it for leisure, but the fragrance is too expensive for me :D

Somehow the fragrances go really well together. I've always found that I don't always like one fragrance note, but here, hats off to the perfumer for putting it together.

I would buy the fragrance again, even if it is expensive (like almost all Xerjoff fragrances) but it is again super pleasant and not so penetrating. It has a certain softness in the scent, I can't explain it somehow :D

This fragrance is a loner. To be honest, I haven't even smelled/noticed the fragrance on anyone else, except for a friend of mine, but he doesn't have it anymore either.

Thanks for reading through! :)

Expensive presentation, cheap juice
I guess that what i said about 40 Knots can be also applied here: another mainstream formulation tweaked and bottle into an extravagant bottle cased in an a box as extravagant as the bottle. Certainly this Xerjoff collection seems created to that public where money is not a problem and where it doesn't matter what is inside the bottle as long as it cost a lot and draws enough attention.Comandante is inspired on a tobacco club, but besides it having a tobaco aroma it doesn't effectively creates this aura (which can be seem well created in another brands' creation, Oroville). Do you know for me which is the difference between this fragrance and Ck Shocki Him? The intensity that both use the same synthetic accord of tobacco and cedar. While Shock goes full on it, Comandante goes into a softer approach. It opens with a strong musk smell, which is in parts creamy and in parts animalic; this transform quickly into a sweet almond aroma.Them after that you get the synthetic dry tobacco accompanied of the dry and synthetic woody aroma that seems to be on smaller or heavier doses on several creations on this line. At last, some kind of musk with oud nuances finishes Comandante on skin after some hours of evolution with a great an excellent lasting on skin, another pattern on this line that seems to compesante the lack of originality in their compositions.

Clean tobacco flower. I get sweet soapy fruity rich tobacco. Very smooth. Smells like better, higher end, more complex niche Versace dreamer

Different twist on Mancera Aoud Blue Notes. Fresh floral tobacco, nicely blended but the Mancera is of higher quality and more interesting..
