Unpleasant England Trip
Wolle and his family had planned to visit England because Wolle's cousin Bolle lived there. After they were quickly enthusiastic about the drinking culture there, Hotte asked whether there would also be leather fragrances. Here Bolle assured that with Royal Leather Mayfair a real heavyweight would be waiting. A fragrance that can of course be seen in reference to the British royal house, to the Duke of Westminster. Sounded excellent to the crew from Herne. It was decided to leave the motorcycles in Germany because the English traffic, there were concerns. Especially since they already had difficulties in Germany to follow the rules let alone not to fall off. How should Udo have also known that there is a ban to be allowed to enjoy down undressed the airstream in the city?
Anyway, we arrived in England and stormed directly the pubs. Bolle wanted to present the Kilian product to Wolle and his friends. So he sprayed a few times in the air: "Bolle, what's going on there? Is that baby powder?"
"Nah, that's Iris, sweetish, powdery, dry, very unpleasant."
"This is leather, very rough."
"There's supposed to be hawthorn in it, it smells rather foul. Maybe it's that funny sweetish element."
"Yes, very Leathery."
"You can't spray that on yourself, I'll put some beer on it, it smells better. Is that what the Queen puts on her face? I'd be on another continent too."
"But highly recommended by a guy called Bald Bastian, well known as Flower Power-Basti."
They then moved on to a neat game of darts, where Hotte ended up in hospital as he accidentally threw a dart backwards and it literally went in his eye. The scent was forgotten, because every time someone smelled it, it felt unpleasantly pungent. It smelled so not at all like leather but the ashy element faked more of a type of leather but smelled like an imitation at most. Of modest quality.
Later, we came back to the scent after Udo slept on the floor, fully drunk and sullied with fish&chips.
"Look, Udo's had a decent spread on. All those flies buzzing around him. That's the foul smell of the perfume. Fascinating how the perfume attracts the flies, smells really bad."
"Uh...well...Udo didn't spray on the Kilian at all."
Everyone took a step to the side.
"Well, there's no development there. Stay that way."
"Well, I smell leather there already. With cinnamon or something on it."
"We call it very fauny, cravachilicious."
"I call it very humble."
Not much else happened after that. Time passed, the scent remained as it is. Rottenness is certainly an extreme element, but not crude. Leather, which is drowned in floral-lovely elements, is not crude. Of course, this is all subjective but there is very little leather here and that too rather powdery. Probably better alternatives exist.
