B Exquisite is a vanilla dominant perfume that exudes oriental confidence and screams Dior-like luxury. At first spray I get a whopper of vanilla enriched by nutmeg, sweet citruses, and berries. The dry down comes in quickly with amber, jasmine, and sandalwood, making this a slightly spicy and mostly soft, sexy, woody pudding-bomb! I see “some” similarity to Flowerbomb but I could never say that this would be a substitute. Though, I definitely would say that it is better than FB by replacing patchouli with the softer, powdery sandalwood and toning down the busy florals by replacing them with the sensual nutmeg/vanilla combo. Projection and longevity are also awesome. I prefer this to any other oriental vanillas I’ve ever had the pleasure to use. Totally appropriate for a date night or those special moments you prefer not to be forgotten. And if you wear this, believe you me - NOBODY is going to forget you!

Oh what a find this is! Without looking at the notes, I get delightful light pink flowers with honey-cream sauce drizzled on top. Powdery beauty with a distinct lipstick accord. Longevity is remarkable; at least 5 hours and counting. Projects minimally so one has to get close to be rewarded with its aroma. Guaranteed to smell different than anybody else and absolutely full bottle worthy for me!

Kind of like a pop singer with an unusually strong voice, I can see Fresh Vanilla being a crowd pleaser and yet stand out at the same time. This is a powdery, sensual vanilla-dominant perfume that is deepened by the rose, musk, and a hint of balsam & citrus. For some reason, it resonates as an oriental vanilla for me. It is rich enough to be spared for cooler weather and sexy enough to be whipped out for nighttime. It has also served as a comfort scent to me when I want to feel a soft, warm shawl around my achy shoulders. Has outstanding sillage and staying power. Definitely recommended for gourmand and oriental vanilla lovers. Such a shame that it's discontinued. Oscar de la Renta, please bring this back!

A very beautiful perfume that opens up with spicy and transparent citrus that puts me in a good mood immediately. It's like that first "zing" you get in your tummy when you fall in love. For me the flowers take the main stand, hyacinth and lilac being the dominant ones. The base is powdery, leaving a coat of sweet yumminess that feels like I could almost bite into it. Wonderfully composed, beautifully packaged, and perfectly named. From the bright, zesty opening to the heart that reminds me of spring and the dry down that wraps around me like a soft, cozy shawl... this is surely the fragrance of Love.
