Sexy, Creamy, Pistachio Nuts
Creme de pistache wasn't everything I hoped for but it came pretty close.

The top notes are a delicious and amazing blast of pistachio nuts and cream. Sort of like pistachio ice cream. This incredible stage is short lived as the perfume dries down to a more gourmandy smelling version of angel. There is not patchouli in this scent but at times I swear that it's there. I get a very sexy feel of the smoothness of this fragrance, it is "grown up" in a way, and I love that it's pistachio note is so unusual.

I prefer the body butter to the perfume because the top notes are much stronger and more long lasting with a quieter "gourmandy angel" dry down on my skin. The fragrance is just scrumptious.

Unique Princess
When I first started collecting perfumes at one point I had something from every princess. The original, glam princess, rock princess, and preppy princess. This is the only princess I ever really liked and held onto. It's one of the few perfumes I actually used up completely. It was something I even had to buy again, even though I'm less impressed with it than I used to be, because it just haunted me. (You guys know how that is)

While the other princesses were based soley around sweet, fruity, and floral notes glam princess throws you a curve ball. Along with the marshmallow and pear that make this a "princess" you also get a very strong cashmere wood note and ambrette seed. The cashmere wood note is creamy and spicey, and the ambrette seed gives it a feel somewhat reminiscent of dior homme intense 2011. Infact when you look at the notes in dior homme intense 2011 with glam princess they both have strong ambrette seed, pear, and woody notes. Glam princess to me smells like an extra sweet, cheaper, more synthetic, girlified version of dior homme intense 2011.

When I first heard some young girls calling this fragrance too masculine I didn't understand at all until I owned a decant of DHI. This is certainly feminine but it's not your average princess. Glam princess to me is confident, with a good blend between "girly sweet" and "tomboy spicy/woody". For a princess unlike the others give this one a go :D

P.S. I'm 22 and it suits me just fine ;)
P.P.S I bought the 100 mL bottle because I wanted to collect the ring but it won't even fit on my thumb D:. Shout out to all my fellow tiny handed girls, my ring finger is a 4.5. These rings are huge, maybe a size 10 if I had to guess.

Chocolate Nutty Cotton Candy
Yum, yum, fun! Brazil nut smells interesting like a wad of slightly burnt spun sugar with chocolate covered nuts. Smelling it I feel energized, happy, and I feel like it's cotton candy esque, but so different and unique at the same time. My only complaint is that the EDT is very light and doesn't last very long on me. Still, am happy to just reapply.

The One that Almost Got Away
It was new year's day 2013 and I decided to blind buy this perfume. I know what you all must be thinking, but I had a coupon! My excuse and I'm sticking to it. (Min New York btw, got it for only $82!). Anyways, when it finally arrived in it's adorable pink bubble gum looking bottle I sprayed away...and just didn't know what to do. The bottle looked so cute, the notes looked just right, but that baby powder syrup was making me just cringgeee.
I actually put it up for swap.
Although when I was talking to a friend about why I wanted to trade it away, I gave loukhoum a second chance and it clicked.
Loukhoum is a super almond powder scented with what smells like cherry syrup, roses, and honey. It's dribbly ooey gooey sweet but so super powdery. Whatever it was that I imagined it smelling like when I bought it really didn't match my expectations at all. Even though loukhoum wasn't what I was expecting it was still great!
Loukhoum lasts forever, the silage is thick. If you want heavy, heavy powder with some intense syrup honey loukhoum style sweetness, you will not have to look another place!
Later on I tried loukhoum eau poudree and ironically that smelt a lot more like what I was expecting this one to smell like. If you haven't smelt loukhoum by kieko before and you are mentally comparing it to be like white musk libertine by the body shop, forgetta about it!! This is 10x heavier I promise.
Intense, rich, powder, loukhoum, syrup, are all things I would tag this fragrance with.
Side note, I hate the bottle change. I think it looks like batman tripping on acid.

Pink Sugar with Less Bark and Less Bite
I've been in love with pink sugar since it was released 10 years ago. I've had the real deal, samples, dupes, and smelt many things trying to impersonate it's character. Pink Sugar is really something else, I've noticed this silly little fragrance getting some growing respect over the years because as strange of a fragrance as it is, it really holds it's own.
I didn't have high hopes for simply pink, simply because it was supposed to be less. Less for me usually doesn't mean better, especially with gourmands. I was still eager to try though and sprayed the top of one of my fingerless gloves. When I first smelled simply pink I was floored. Simply pink is just done right! The top notes delivered me a sugary punch of 3 of my favorite notes. Green leaves, almonds, and raspberry. Wow. That really shook up my senses in a pleasant way, just holding the simply pink bottle I was expecting that all too familiar licorice but it was just totally gone, poof!
The floral heart is pretty and nice, imagine walking through trees filled with white petals showering on you.
The bottom is really nice! A strawberry pink praline?! Unusual, still very sweet and lovely. The licorice vanilla helps the fragrance smell more like the old pink sugar at the dry down. Overall I was just sniff, sniff hooraying with my glove all the way home. Best of all my glove smelt like simply pink all the next day and it was the best smelling drives to school ever. The even better best of all you can still smell a bit of the top notes even till the end, and for me this was so important because the top notes are my very favorite!
I encourage all pink sugar and non-pink sugar lovers to try. Simply pink is still somewhat similar to pink sugar but packing a lot less of a punch. Simply pink is simply pretty! I am head over heels for that green leaf, almond, raspberry combo.
I've had a good run with pink sugar, 10 years of loyalty, but simply pink has me switching sides to try something different. Very pleased with aquolina once again.
