Gardenia

The Gardenia (Gardenia jasminoides) is an evergreen plant with stronly scented white blossoms. It grows mainly in South-East Asia and in Southern China. Gardenia is available as absolute but the fragrance can also be imitated by a combination of several fragrance ingredients. An example for such a Gardenia accord can be found here:
