None Better
Many thanks to you, Tar, for mentioning this house I'd never heard of. I got samples in and my first thought on first sniff was that I'd tumbled through some rabbit hole into a fresh and exquisitely scented mythic outdoors. This particular one is almost unbelievable. After the delicious top I waited, staring at the notes. Was it physically possible for Buddhawood, Agar Oud, and Misiones Ceder to smell this fantastic? Yes! How? Darned if I know. Am I having a case of phantosmia, I wonder, but no! Twenty minutes later this beautiful wood is still real and captivating. Apparently, this scent was created by the owner for himself and he never planned to share it. Guess not. He'd have all the ladies to himself, that way. Somehow, he was persuaded to bestow the scent on mere mortals and up the rabbit hole it came. If there's a wood fragrance on this earth that smells half as good as this, I would climb every mountain (or, on second thought, hire a Sherpa) and forge every stream (or perhaps locate a friendly scuba diver) to obtain it. If anyone who's smelled this knows of a greater excellence, please leave a note and clue me in. Okay, comparing to my adored Tam Dao ... TD's not better! Must find the time for a real sniff-fest of woods! Meanwhile, absolutely gotta give this to my guy.
