Clouds Crystal

I like powder scents. Not the sweet seal pullers, the fresh ones. The airy ones tender. And thanks to a dear Parfuma here, this fine gem has moved into my cozy home. Thanks again dear First, my spring has become something special. (Summer maybe too!)

The scent:
Starts immediately freshly bizzelig in the nose. Clean as if washed with soap, transforms, becomes softer, more powdery. It always remains crystal clear, always clean, but not unpleasant. It caresses the skin and lies silky on it. It is well perceptible also after 6 hours, however only in the proximity of the person carrying the smell
This scent is a snow crystal. It gently reflects the sun's rays, transforming them into colourful cheerful lights. He merges with you in a dazzling soap bubble powder dream. It's green, fresh, powdery, bright, friendly, bright.
An evergreen. It underlines the gentle but self-confident femininity. Gives her refinement without being too dominant in the foreground.

For me, a scent for sunshine, and to shine.

Iris Pallida, according to the box, is the sort of Iris that was used for this earthy green floral. Now, i don´t know what is the olfactive difference between the varieties, but this white flower iris smell here rather pale and transparent.

Don´t get me wrong. I am a huge admirer of paleness. The pre-raphaelite women are pale, and so is the fur of my cat. Pale is the light of a rainy day (just like today) and i could write a long list of many favourite pale things.

Infusion d´Iris is very watery and a bit melancholic. On my skin, the lily of the valley is the dominant note. This is a rain soaked lily of the valley, very fresh and transparent, and pale blue-tinged, thanks to the violet. It is a beautifl accord, how the scent starts muget and finish violet, over a distant, clean iris. Neroli and galbanum are refreshing and sparkle like ice cubes falling on a glass.

This flowers are so wet, it smells a bit musty, but just the tiny bit to make it interesting.

In this first stage it is tender and delicate, and even it can be perfectly shared, it is closer to the femenine. Of all the versions on Infusion d´Iris, is the most flowery, and my second favourite after the Absolue.

For the ones who like their tea strong, they will probably wish this infusion had settled a bit longer. Someone who look for a subtle, unintrusive scent will be pleased with this dewy wild flowers.

The drydown is so beautiful and unoffensive i can hardly imagine someone disliking it: the clean iris is now the dominant. It keeps the characteristic earthiness, but all impurities and dirt have been washed away. The iris is rounded with a mild cedar wood note.

Sweet Dreams (Infusion d'Iris - Part 2)

This is my sleep good, feel good, cozy perfume. I just love it, could baaaathe in it.

Iris and a hint of violet, more I usually don't smell before succumbing to sleep. Every night, as I am surrounding myself with it - sometimes I light up the candle too - the whole room smells good. If I am not already sleeping by the time the base notes come out, there is a touch of neroli and something woody. But all in all, the scent is full of the wonderful powdery and creamy iris.

There is really no comparison with the Eau de Parfum, in my opinion. These are two entirely different scents! While the EDP is built around the orange, the EDT stages the iris. So, the EDP is warm and spicy. This one, however, is fresh and powdery.

Longevity is not great with either one. Strangely enough, the Eau de Toilette lasts longer on my skin.

Infusion d'Hélio of the Valley

Quite close to Infusion d'Homme without the orange but with violet and Lily-of-the-Valley florals instead that gives a freshly laundered bedding kind of vibe . And has a little more sweetness from the heliotrope. Also quite creamy like dove deeply nourishing body wash.
