Uncle and nephew Jacques and Nicolas Chabert and Raphaël Haury come from the high perfumery nobility of the perfume capital Grasse. Jacques Chabert (responsible for Chanel's Cristalle and Guerlain's Samsara, among others) and the two young savages (each sons of perfumers) grew up with fragrance, perfume composition and perfumery and had the very best prerequisites to become professional noses themselves. They became so and founded the brand Parfums 06130.

06130 is the zip code of Grasse, and the young company invokes the centuries-spanning tradition of the Provençal town. So far, they have launched six fragrances, each of which claims to be the highest consistent perfume art beyond the demands of a global consumer market. With self-confidence, they represent, for example, that the fragrance Feuille de Réglisse is "the worldwide ambassador of exquisite niche perfume".
