Interesting Facts
James Heeley is a designer who was wildly influenced by the fragrance world. Originally, the British-born designer studied aesthetics, philosophy, and law in London. During this time, Heeley created several series of paintings and pictures, but he did not put them on canvas himself. He, unfortunately, lacked the technical skills. Nevertheless, he was quite successful with his paintings and also with decorative objects that he created in his Paris studio.

However, because James Heeley wanted to paint himself, he decided to use fragrances instead of colors for his painting. His skills in aesthetics came in handy here because Heeley already had very concrete "scent pictures" in his head. He was particularly smitten with floral fragrances. Without any previous knowledge of the perfume industry, James Heeley created his first fragrance called "Figuier," which is strongly reminiscent of fig.

Heeley quickly found his feet in development, production, and marketing and launched other fragrances such as the elegant "Menthe Fraîche", "Oranges and Lemons" and "Rose Aria". For maximum creativity, Heeley separated from foreign financiers after his first collection. Only a small traditional fragrance studio in the south of France helps the former lawyer in the implementation of his "fragrance paintings".

In addition to the floral-fresh perfumes, the brand James Heeley also produces and distributes fragrances in special gift boxes, as well as collections with several fragrance samples (2.5 ml each).
