Interesting Facts
"Mendittorosa" is the life project of fragrance designer, visionary, and entrepreneur Stefania Squeglia. She was born in Naples and developed an unusual hobby during her childhood: she collected blossoms and herbs, mixed them with oils or even perfumes from her parents' house, and mixed everything in her grandmother's old jugs. That's how she made her first fragrances when she was just five years old. When Squeglia visited Stromboli Island in 2011, she remembered that time and decided to give her life a different direction and founded the label "Mendittorosa".
Stefania Squeglia is driven by the aroma and other dedicated artists who assist Squeglia with fragrance creations, packaging, and distinctive design.
Because the label sees itself as a niche brand, all fragrances are produced in limited quantities to maintain the highest standards possible.
As a young company in the 21st century, "Mendittorosa" is also aware of its social responsibility by replacing plastic or cellophane with stone, wood, metal, or ceramics. And, of course, all fragrances at "Mendittorosa" are developed without any animal testing.

... to open light in the dark
Tart, sad bergamot and melancholy citrus peel linger under gray clouds. Faint violets in the dull grass. Intense melancholy of leaden gray days that never end, somehow dragging me along as if under a glass bell, sealed off, is anything...
