"Mexx" traces its roots back to entrepreneur Kul Rattan Chadha (1949), who founded the brand in 1986. Men's fashion was named "Moustache", while women's collections were named "Emanuelle". Chadha added two kissing symbols next to these two initial letters, which led to the foundation of "Mexx".
