Interesting Facts
Pierre Guillaume is an absolute shooting star of the current perfume scene. Born in 1977 in Auvergne as the child of a chemist who produced chemicals for industry in his own factory, he specialized in fine chemicals, i.e. manufacturing for cosmetics and perfumery. In 2002, he founded his own brand, Parfumerie Générale, and very quickly established himself successfully in the niche market.
His primarily unisex composed fragrances are numbered consecutively, carry their name only in the subtitle, and are serially filled in classic-looking, transparent and solid glass bottles to eliminate any prior judgments ("masculine," "feminine," "luxurious," "complex," "simple," "natural," "traditional," "modern," etc.) and make possible an immediate, non-preconceived encounter.
Pierre Guillaume's perfumes, which have been enthusiastically criticized by experts, see themselves as artistic, but not too artistic (he attaches great importance to wearability), very modern works of perfume, in which tradition and high tech are applied in equal measure. He does not emphasize a "non-synthetic, all-natural" composition and production (which is very difficult to maintain in real terms anyway), but uses the technique and method that best serve the desired expression in each case.
Olfactory treading of new ground is the declared goal of Parfumerie Générale, and the 25 fragrances that the enterprising and prolific Pierre Guillaume has already released under his fledgling brand are astonishing pioneering achievements that have the potential to become modern classics.

A great fragrance under the radar
25 Indochine is generally a relatively unknown fragrance, which is a real shame. This fragrance can do a lot and is also very well received on the outside.
An oriental-inspired fragrance that is spicy-sweet with resinous-woody elements.
Admittedly,...
