Lord of Christopher Street
Hello blind purchase, how are we doing today?
It never goes well when I see something and it arouses such interest in me that I want to try it out. Up to the point it could at least still go well. But neither has someone had a bottling ready, nor was there a sharing that looked somehow promising for me. So, a whole bottle it is, then. Will already go wrong.
Ordered. Arrived. Unpacked. Which Pappnase has put me because these samples?! Can save you as so often. Never mind.
This is about Christopher Street.
Simple packaging. White cardboard and black print. Wins now no flower pot, the prettier is the bottle, you see yes above in the pictures. Almost as beautiful amber as a whiskey that has been in the barrel for over a decade.
Before I spray it on me, first on the paper and the eyes are big. Do I smell there Lord of Misrule Perfume ? Black pepper and patchouli definitely very prominent and similar to the mystical counterpart. But then the cumin hits in and takes myrrh by the hand. Holla, is something going on here on the skin. My Lush retro memory sniffs Hellstone . Okay.
On paper still quite delicate compared to later, when I then had the scent on the skin. On paper also more noticeable: the woody base. On the skin rather perceptible: the dirty base. Overall perceptible: a finished edgy fragrance with the right touch of animalic, smoke, mysticism, dryness.
Striking. To the point. Definitely one of the good blind buys again.
Durability hard in order and the sillage does not need to hide. A very successful overall package
