Laurel Canyon on a mild rainy day
The concept "bottling counterculture" of the niche brand nineteen sixty nine (19-69) from Sweden lures me again and again with its fragrances produced in Italy and names with reference to the pop culture of the late 60s and early 70s. The latest creation "Higher Peace" I then immediately acquired as a blind purchase and was initially really disappointed, probably also due to my high expectation level. The fragrance seemed strangely incongruous to me with extremely dominant benzoin notes. - How did I deal with it? On a rainy day at the end of July it was then once again so far to try Higher Peace and the fragrance I suddenly liked very well.
