No gin and tonic, but a trip to Capri instead
The scent reminds many people of gin and tonic. Unfortunately not me. Why unfortunately? I think a gin and tonic can have a tangy scent despite the spices etc. and I like that. I mainly perceive the woody notes in Yes please! That's not a bad thing, because not every fragrance for the lighter and warmer seasons has to be citrusy and sparkling. I was just hoping for something a little less woody. I clearly perceive the Amyris scent. That's probably why the fragrance reminds me of Amyris Homme by Maison Francis Kurkdjian (EdT).
For me, Capri by 19-69 is the more beautiful summer fragrance. I have sprayed both at the same time on different arms and find that the hold and presence are the same. Capri's longevity comes off worse in the community, but Capri is also much more widespread.
