Dry grass with no sugar
These are the recorded notes documented as I wore this (with no prior knowledge of the notes).
Opening sharp green with a linden feel, possibly a citrus.
Feels like cedar with galbanum type of sharp green, quite harsh but supported by softer woods.
There is an acrid feel I cannot yet put my finger on that lifts this.
There is a dryness like opening a cedar chest with something quite tart in, almost like the tartness of rhubarb. It could be rhubarb as it has an earthy quality as well.
A softer woody note with a softness like vanilla or musk. Aromachemical musk?
Dry, dry timbers like an aroma chemical norimbanol or the like. The dryness is verging on parchment, dry and crispy and acrid like a dry desert. Not a trace of sweetness.
It lifts after the dryness, the heaviness goes and there is a lifting quality like a linden flower.
There is still a piercing green through this like the left overs of a galbanum with the dry woody edge.
This is a dry, dry scent for those who love cold, crisp and green scents with a woody edge. It recedes to a cut grass note. No gourmand fan will like this.

I was surprised to read the notes afterwards. So surprised that I had to try it again on paper.
Totally different on paper. Huge sappy violets with an almost harsh blast of citrus oranges almost like you got sprayed in the face by the zest. Like an alcoholic fruit punch with no sugar. This is dry, dry, dry green and reminds me of a picnic. It certainly lives up to the name but is not a gentle springtime. This is strong, green and sappy. The green is sharp and crackly like crumpled stems. The dryness verging on parchment, cedar and rhubarb.

I may need to wear it again with full knowledge of the notes and try to separate them out with the nose.
This wasn't easy to wear even though I like dry greens. I will give it a chance again.
