Solid fragrance without a "WOW" effect
With the Acqua Colonia Intense - Refreshing Lagoons of Laos I am once again dealing with a fragrance from 4711. I don't think the scent is bad and quite solid, but I'm not really convinced in the end. The fragrance is listed on Parfumo as a women's fragrance, for me it even smells quite unisex. The longevity is quite good at 6-7 hours, but after a very short time it is quite skin-deep. I therefore find the sillage to be mediocre.
The top note starts fresh, green, slightly aquatic and fruity with aromas of cucumber, watermelon, unripe apples and grapefruit. The heart note remains green thanks to violet leaves, but there are also floral notes with lotus blossom and rose water. The base has a slightly sweet, woody and balsamic scent of sandalwood and some amber.
In the end, I'm not sure how much I like this fragrance. It's light, fresh and not overpowering. At least it's a pleasant everyday fragrance.
