Great scent let down by performance
Bought a full bottle after falling in love with the sample. The "more grown up Percival with vetiver" descriptor is accurate, and to my taste it's absolutely perfect. The killer though is that I only get about 30 mins of projection from it before it becomes a skin scent, so I won't be buying this again. If he could fix the performance and re-create this profile it would be my signature scent. If it was cheaper then I could just respray, but at £2.50 per ml I really need better for performance for the money, even considering it's a fresh profile

2023 version Clean with a twist.
I’m sitting here trying to place an accord that doesn’t match the notes. It’s an expression of clean I remember from my youth but can’t place. Anyway, I have the new reformulated 2023 version and I’m not experiencing any longevity issues. I never had the older version so I can’t compare, but after the brief but rich citrus opening, this settles into a patchouli, vetiver drydown that last forever. The patchouli continues to develop the entire time ranging from earthy to sweet to a little dirty (after it’s been on me all day). There are a few other notes that pop up to say hi a couple of times, most notably some lovely apple and amber. I hardly notice the ambroxen . But along the way I keep getting these whiffs of something from my youth that I can’t figure out, it’s odd sense of clean. At any rate after applying in the morning I can still pick up the patchouli at night, so much so that I can’t really layer anything after work without showing first.
Since it’s getting warmer I expect I will go through this bottle rather quick. It’s a decent wear that offers some unique facets while overall remaining safe.

Beautiful Masculine Fresh
Beautiful fragrance. Very masculine, fresh, very pleasing. Share some similar notes to PDM Percival but not at all the same fragrance. Where Percival is fruity, juicy, sweet, this is dry, woody, very masculine.

My only complaint is that compared to other ATH fragrances this only lasts about 4 hours on my skin. Most of his other work lasts all day (or longer ).

Beautiful scent, could be worn anywhere, but disappointing performance from a house I’ve grown to associate with excellent performance.

Ruff savage
This is going to be quick:

AMBROXAN!!!!!! AMBROXAN!!!!!

Mighty performance and longevity like a over bearing annoyance. Honestly 7hrs is perfect. This is a rough apparition of Dior’s Sauvage. I don’t know if the rose tinted specs are slipping from my view of ATH’s fragrances but I think some are really worth a 10ml bottle, others I don’t think are worth the hype. I think it’s just too bombastic and that hides some issues for me.

Solid all-year fragrance...
For me it does have a resemblance to Percival. This is clean and fresh with a touch of creaminess/sweetness in the base. Extremely mass appealing, this would be suitable for all-year use. I do have to say though, it's probably the worst performing fragrance from ATH. That doesn't mean to say it's bad, but don't expect it to perform like the rest of his fragrances (understandable given it's a fresh fragrance). It has pretty moderate projection throughout, I get a solid 6-7 hours out of this. This is a good versatile fragrance to have in the collection though it's maybe a little pricey for what it is. If it were £60 - £70 for 50ml then I'd absolutely buy a full bottle of this, but in my opinion £125 is just far too expensive for this particular fragrance.

This arrived yesterday and it's another stunning fragrance from this house.
For me it's perfect for sunny spring days.
