Apparently discontinued
The smokiest Oudh I found so far, by the house of Maison Anthony Marmin located in Dubai.

It has a profoundly Islamic and religious vibe ideally suitable for festive religious occasions. A bit too opulent and luxurious for regular mosque attendance for most otherwise this could be a signature scent especially for this kind of setting bc it's close to the skin so it's modest as well.

As an alcohol free perfume oil it's in keeping with Islamic tradition with all natural ingredients, Cambodian oudh, there are fruity notes in here, greens, a honey sweetness and that smoke at the base, it's just heavenly.

Apparently discontinued, comparatively speaking not the cheapest at € 25,00 that I paid at the time for the 6ml, however you can still find it easily online.

If you have a soft spot for Oudh and Oriental men's fragrances a safe blind buy for sure.

One tends to feel like an Arabic prince with this on, it's easily the best oudh fragrance I've come across thus far in my fragrance journey.

Really pleased to have it in the collection, albeit for special occasions only.

The coolest thing about having this is, knowing what kind of Oudh I prefer, this is it!

Whatever kinds of Ouds I'm getting in future I'll be asking for this DNA profile.

A strong fabric
Smells just like the oud - Al Muhib. It is also so viscous, but the colour here is not greenish. An extract from my description: A chemical - smoky note is clearly perceptible. The Oud is probably suitable for beginners, because I could not smell any faecal or animalistic note. With colleagues I have also smelled it from time to time clearly out of a perfume.

Amazing sweet oud
It’s winter, family gathered around a table in a cozy vacation cabin, it’s snowing outside, the fireplace warm the our hearts and bodies. There’s joy and love in the air, at the table we have a beautiful aroma of caramel pudim, dried fruits and deserts made from honey. This is how I can describe Oud Al Amir by Abdul Karim Al Faransi.

This is a very woody fragrance blended beautifully with the sweet notes, the top players here are the cambodian agarwood (not skanky at all), woody notes, honey and a complexity of dried fruits, the honey and the dried fruits give balance too smooth out the agarwood giving it complexity and sweetness without being overpowered.

The official notes are as follow:
Top: Sweet Woody, Caramel
Heart: Green Notes, Honey
Base: Cambodian Agarwood, Sweet Ripe Fruits

The scent itself is smooth but strong, sweet but not gourmand and a bit dry, I can sense some kind of smokiness hidden in the background, very long lasting at least 10+ hours on my skin.

The other day I’ve decided to wear this on a dinner at a friends house, 2 drops max from this beautiful almost honey like attar, 1 on the wrist, dab, a bit on the neck, dab dab, dabbing a bit on clothes. Well all I can say it’s, I had no idea how strong this is, I’m terrible at judging fragrances in terms of projection and silage, I can only judge it on others, for my surprise everyone love it, I could fill the room with this beautiful scent but in a good smooth way, this was the description of my friend, which whenever she entered the room her words where always “Samuel your fragrance is so good, whenever I come in that’s all I can smell”, so yes, people will notice you, in a very good way. From all the people I gave it to smell, there’s no one who didn’t like it, even my nice (who is 5 years old) her reaction was “uhmmmmmm” with a big smile on her face sweet face :).

Highly recommend to try if you like sweet woody scents (samples available in the web store)

The main scent I get is incense from a New Age Shop or Buddhist/Hindu store. Sweet, honey-like, fruity woods with incense.
