This scent is identical to all-natural rose essential oil diluted with water. While not offensive and totally straightforward...R de Rose is like going to see an unremarkable singer perform "Somewhere over the Rainbow", that is to say, it is not worth the effort. With so many gorgeous, weird and wild interpretations on this solifleur, I was expecting --- well, anything - some sort of fresh twist on a well worn theme. Thin, translucent, short-lived; I will stick with my pure rose water facial spritzer.The other notes did not come out to play.
