Great osmanthus on sweet mandarin

As the second fragrance I'm testing from the Signatures of the Sun collection by AdP, Osmanthus is definitely up there. Although I don't think it would really suit me, I am convinced that it is one of the top women's fragrances on the market.

The fragrance starts with a combination of sweet, slightly fresh mandarin and an intense osmanthus note, which, as the name suggests, runs through the entire fragrance. I really love the top note because it is simply super clean and pleasantly soft. It evokes associations with fine soap or a colorful flower meadow.

After a while, the tangerine diminishes considerably and spicy scents such as ambrette and pepper are added, which are a nice counterpoint to the still very intense osmanthus.

The drydown no longer changes too much and ends with a floral osmanthus-rose blend.

Personally, I see the fragrance on women, as it is very floral throughout and such an osmanthus is generally more suitable for women.

Violet candy

tested at Lyon airport which offered a wide range of perfumes.

I really liked its sweet side, I had the impression of returning to my childhood with the metal box filled with candy that the elderly people offered when we were invited. a scent of violet stood out in this perfume which I would describe as flowery and gourmand.

The staying power and sillage are modest, unlike the selling price. Allow for around 2 hours of maximum staying power 3.

Osmanthus for the hot days

Amouage his "Sunshine Woman" was for me always the killer among the Osmanthus scents. Often the scents seem so overburdened by the flower alone and made very difficult. It's not a daisy. The Amouage was always a step too heavy for me with a good 33 degrees on Hamburg's streets. It was never a summer scent for me either.
Is it even possible with this flower? Can anyone try that as a summer scent? No.

2019. Surprise from Italy. Acqua di Parma now rocks the fresh side of the Osmanthus world. The green and cytric start is noble and pleasant. Typical DNA of the brand. It's still got some subtle fruit. There's no biting in the nose. The peony looks slightly humble, as does the less conspicuous amber. That's it. Pepper I take was discreet, but from the beginning the Osmanthus. After 3 hours it continues to grow in strength and shows some honeydew on white musk for me. Works well. Yellow gold and strong it goes therefore and at the same time it is well wearable with summer heat on the skin. Great. After 6 hours the air is out but a great veil remains on the skin. Body-hugging and lovely. Never pushy. Unisex. Available as 100 ml or 180 ml bottle. The prices are already high class. In my opinion they could have released the whole thing as a light version at lower prices. 200 € are quickly gone at 100 ml. Will definitely remain one of my favorite fragrances when it comes to the Osmanthus flower. Highly recommended. This A.d.P. "gives" power. You feel very sublime. That's where other flower scents have to warm up for the summer! They look cheap next to the Italians
