Some herbs don't make chypre yet
I had only planned a statement, because a fragrance that I rated 5.5 obviously doesn't really appeal to me. However, Maijda makes me a little perplexed and not only because he is classified here by several users as Chypre.
The brand comes from Sardinia - the Mediterranean Sea and its moods could have been the inspiration for it and yet: I don't have oak moss, even patchouli doesn't help, the white musk disturbs me, vanilla disturbs me and the bottom line is that a feeling of "everything can do, nothing has to do" creeps up on me and please stir once. But that doesn't make a chypre out of it. Thyme and myrtle don't really help. The fragrance seems to me unfinished, unharmonious and the fire of the Sardinian women, which is tried in the enclosed brochure, I do not find real either.
It's a bit heretical, but the result was similar when I first tried MyParfum to create my own personal perfume. I left it to the pros.
Maijda doesn't smell unpleasant, you can already use it up, but you can also let it go without having missed anything.
