Aigenwillig-aigenständiger Patch-Rosen-Aigner- Aigentlich very good!
I had already tested several fragrances from the "Aigner" brand. On every visit to Rossmann at the "service counter". Some are too mundane and boring for me, others really "hit the spot"... like the one described here! Tested... searched in the "Souk" - and found it! Blind swap in perfect. What I smell is somehow "idiosyncratic" and independent! An outstandingly successful patch-rose combination that is neither too "cellary" or "dull" nor too tart or too sweet. And it doesn't offer the usual, which quickly leads to habituation with other rose-patch liqueurs.
Here, peppery citrus fruits and summery, crisp peach set the mood for what is to come.
When the tart, fruity rose then plays tag with woods and delicate amber, sometimes one, sometimes the other in front, things get really interesting! Powerful, yet never overpowering, the fragrance is almost irresistible and slightly mystical.
The patchouli is on board long before the earthy-woody base, and the rose-freesia melange holds its own until the end. And it takes a long time to get to the "end". Lasts "forever" without ever "wearing out". Tartness and sweetness always balance each other out and sometimes dance together in the middle of the fragrance.
In my opinion, a very underrated "Aigner" fragrance ;-))
