Fire of the night
This perfume is pretty far from mainstream. Therefore it always gets my attention when I wear it. I love the way it darkens over the hours, like a fire dying out. Aigner has done a very good job creating this fragrance. In general, I find Aigner’s interesting and always a bit special.
Coriander and aldehydes are there first. I soon get a very clean feeling from the orris root, and the scent becomes darker after ten to fifteen minutes. Half an hour later the rose blends in and the scent tends to become flowery/musky. It finally changes into the woody base with patchouli, oak moss, vetyver and sandalwood.
Longevity is really outstanding. I can smell the scent in my clothes for days.
I really do like this perfume. It is long lasting and really beautifully composed. It will definitely please all perfumistas, who like the dark, spicy mixes.
