I almost confused the fragrance at the miniature exchange with the almost identical looking and almost eponymous X-Limited by Aigner. Whereby one could also wonder whether the 15ml bottle size, which was quite officially offered for sale, is rather a rather large miniature or a very small container. Personally, I have assigned it to my miniature collection.
But let's let the facts speak. XXL goes not only from the optics in the direction of X-Limited, but also olfactory, which should probably not be a big surprise. What stands out in the first place, are mainly extremely citrus-fresh notes with a slight synthetic aftertaste, however, not as bland and bad as mentioned younger Aigner brother, yet you can tell with both fragrances that CK One served as a role model.
Gradually peel out bright woody as well as aquatic notes, which integrate relatively excellent in the fragrance structure and thus make XXL not even unpleasant - at least for hot summer days and the time.
I think most would reach in comparison then but rather to CK One or of course to the far more successful Acqua di Gió by Giorgio Armani. Jener embodies for my taste the theme "Fresh, Citric, Aquatic" most appealing, even if he is worn inflationary.
And who does not believe it: a year later, Aigner brought out the XXX Large, of course in the almost identical satin-transparent bottle and most likely in the fragrance structure only slightly different .
