For merchandise enthusiasts, cleaning maniacs - and anosmic people
Yo ho ho - I admit: I have no clue why or how this ended up in my possession. But it is ok, because this allows me to use a lot of words I usually do not use when writing reviews. Such as tacky. The bottle is really tacky. The top is a silver pirate skeleton head, made of soft rubber. My theory is, that it is made of rubber so that the main customers will not get hurt when removing it. This is obviously a scent for children, who love the movies. And for the other customer segment, the fans, who go and buy whatever merchandise produced for the film, such as t-shirts, ballpoints, caps, figurines, toilet paper, key rings, posters - and apparently perfume.
The scent is fresh and reminds me of one of the products I have used for cleaning the toilet. Apple and bergamot are really strong in the beginning. Then after 15 minutes the scent turns soapy. I get none of the flowers, apart from heliotrope. It lasts for 1-2 hours. Maybe this is not so bad after all, since I bet no one wants to keep on smelling like this for a long time.
Do not get me wrong. It is not a bad scent - for sanitary products. The scent reminds me of vacuum cleaner scent tablets or Wunderbaum Apfel. But I would not wear the fragrance. Not for a million gold coins, pieces of eight and rubies - blimey! I would rather walk the plank.
This is not a solitary. Air-Val International has made quite a few gems - or should I say hidden treasures?… I suppose my personal favourite fragrance would be Minions, when looking at the photo and the notes. But I am looking forward to the day when a fellow parfumista uploads a photo of Spongebob Squarepants…
Anyway, this scent is perfect for being trapped on a remote tropical island.
