A perfect symbiosis...
...of two very popular and high-profile fragrances. Can something like this work? Because Creed Aventus as well as Tuscan Leather are already the absolute heavyweights of their genre.
In short, yes, it works!

About the fragrance: Tuscan King has a sour leathery start, there are strong similarities to Tuscan Leather, but the fruity and woody notes make it appear more herbaceous and green than a direct relationship to Creed.
He is retaining this concept for the time being. But as time goes on, this impression changes and the smoky pineapple and cedar appear more and more. I also have the feeling that depending on the environment (temperature and humidity) different notes come to the fore. There is quasi an interplay of the two kings. Sometimes the imperious and raw general, who sits unshakably on his high horse, in leather armour, shows up while commanding his troops. And sometimes it is the king, exalted and seated beyond all doubt, who reigns from his cedar throne, while bite-sized bites of pineapple and black currant are served to him.
The latter finally turns out to be the winner, because in the morning of the next day only a touch of pineapple remained.

I will test the durability and silage even more extensively, so far the performance of TK makes a promising impression. As you can already guess in the pretext, he was ordered in the evening of the previous day to be sniffed the next morning (according to his girlfriend he now had a strong resemblance to Aventus).

I myself became aware of TK when I was looking for more fragrances from the house "Alexandria Fragrances". In the shopping cart there was already Arabian Horse in the shopping cart, and to save shipping costs from the United Kingdom, I ordered this one in addition. I liked the concept very much, because both Tuscan Leather and Aventus have potential in the direction of each other. As the TL is very raw and scratchy, a reduction of its size seems to be a possible alternative. The concept already worked for Ombré Leather (16 and 18), and it's also a very treasured fragrance in my collection.
Aventus looks similar, although I find it much rounder and more accessible as a complete package than TL. Nevertheless, I like the presentation of the Aventus DNA, with a distinct leather background, very much.
But all in all the relationship to Tuscan Leather is more apparent, which is not bad at all. You just have to know what to expect, but if you are a friend of tangy and leathery scents in general, then you should be able to make friends with him. If you are looking for the typical Aventus DNA, then it gets more difficult, or you have to be patient until the distinctive leather note has warped.
I haven't tried it yet, but I could imagine to layer Tuscan King with Aventus, or a corresponding dupe, or to mix both fragrances in a pocket sprayer The relationship could be arranged according to preference. Tests will follow and will be supplemented accordingly.

Tuscan King is more wearable on cooler days, as the intense leather note could otherwise become too intrusive. I think spring is the best time of the year, because the sour berries and fruity notes give it something vegetal and vegetal. I almost associate it with the smell of dandelion leaves and stems, which you grind between your hands.

I imagine the wearer to be a man of younger to middle age, well dressed and whose format and etiquette are well known. Someone who makes no effort to shirk his duties, who is always calculated and goal-oriented in his actions.

Mixing, mixing, incense sticks.
I ordered the fragrance - because I like Aventus and also Tuscan Leather as fragrances very much, and according to comments and reviews it smells like an interplay of these two well-known fragrances.
Said done - finally arrived from UK. Directly looking at the bottle which is standard for Alexandria:
"Leather - Pinnapple - Birch" -> These are probably the main ingredients of this mixture, which are written strikingly on the bottle.

I put a sprayer straight into the room and smelled it.

"WOW - what a fragrance" - Was my first thought and was thrilled.
The fruity pineapple was perfectly balanced with the woody & somewhat scratchy birch. Not a trace of leather. A strong Aventus touch!
The second spray on my wrist immediately brought my association with Aventus back into my head. Very much based on it - but why is Tuscan Leather missing?!
In comparison I also have the "Dupe" by Aventus in the form of Rasasi's "Pour Lui" (Zebra) - which smells a lot more synthetic.

Then 2 sprays behind the ear and off to the acoustic band sample. In the car the scent was in small clouds in my nose - but modified. You notice something sweet, and Ledriges -> Finally Tuscan Leather comes out.
In the background, I gently noticed the scent of the evening and found the interplay of the two notes of fruit and leather very good.
However, a nice anecdote at the end of the evening: Colleague comes closer to say goodbye and asks: "Why does it smell like incense sticks?
My answer is, "I guess I should be."

And yes - this smoky, sweet-woody undertone of the fragrance, which is stronger in the air and in space than the fruit -> Already reminds of the typical incense sticks.
But there are differences.

All in all it is a very good fragrance - high quality and worth the money. Shelf life in good 6-7 hours.
Did I expect more?-> Yes, there is still something missing. Something that makes the fragrance unique. But how is that supposed to work with the two role models...
